    On August 5, 2008 Feyenoord announced that they have agreed to cancel Lensky's contract due to the player's personal reasons. As of September 1, 2008 his contract with the Dutch club will be officially dissolved and Lensky will retire from professional football.

    No its not either of them two its a lad called John Marsden just turned 16. He been interviewed on radio back in liverpool about the move and both he and the club are delighted. He was wanted by all the major clubs Wigan tried to hide him but looks like our scouts sneaked in and watched him and obviously sold the club to him.
    He apparently signed his contract wednesday and there are pictures of him in some of the papers next few days with the head of youth and chief excec certainly one for the future I will look out for fellow scouser up here.

    i really hate the term wonderkid being bandied about every time were interested
    in a young unknown player. dont know about you guys but when i think wonderkid
    i think maradona, messi, tevez, giggs, rooney etc. these guys exploded on to the
    scene & if any of the so called wonderkids that were looking at are wonderkids
    then they would do the same no?

    got to agree. the term wonderkid is banded about too often these days, same goes for 'world class'.

    wonderkids are kids that are 16 and pushing for a first team place in the respected domestic top flight. eg. Rooney, Messi, Fabregas etc were all wonderkids.
