the modern customers of football dont deserve to be classed as fellow fans they are a spreading disease slowly killing the beautifull game. they dont support the team so therefore they are not supporters they are spectators spectate from home and leave supporting the tic to the real fans.

totally. that's what'd be so great about a standing section. We could get all of us together in one place.

And there SHOULD be a place for all the spectators as well. A place where you expect people not to swear or stand up singing or shout or make any non-pc jokes or craic or generally show any noticeable signs of life :56:....that's what a family stand used to be for. Then the sanctimonious middle class * have a place to go and sit in peace without being offended in any way. Fine. Just not the whole stadium!

Have to agree with you guys. Nothing gets on my * more than when you stand up and start to sing and try and get a bit of atmosphere going and people look at you like you've got 4 heads! :31: It's like WHY THE * ARE YOU HERE IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO SUPPORT THE TEAM??? At least if there was a standing area I wouldn't have to be surrounded by mothers and their precious wee weans who obviously have never heard a swearie word before or corporate arseholes who are there for a jolly up! I could be surrounded by real supporters and enjoy it like I used to do. HAIL HAIL

we have those standing sections in a few stadiums over here in Switzerland and we are still alive. as hut hut already said, it's only dangerous if you over sell the section.

Present legislation won't allow it but I always preferred standing. Can't see it coming back though.

If they did something like it they could just put under 16s in the north and south stand aeras and they could be standing areas behind the goals.:50:

There would still be 53,000 odd seats for them to chose from:97:

VFSAG Presentationcheck out a few of those stadiums.

we should defo bring a standing area back celtic park.

football grounds are far more secure than ever, so the claim that it would be unsafe, in my view is flawed.

what would the difference be from selling 10,000 season tickets for a seated area to a non-seated area?

obviously there should still be areas of the stadium which are seated for people who dont want to stand, but surely there should be a choice!
