The second option, but he was solid in the 4 months he played for us.

Great player, never a legend at Celtic.

Wasn't here long enough to be considered a legend but probably would have been if he was here longer.

Most over rated player in premiership history,IMO,Not even close to being a celtic legend, theres a cue a mile long ahead of him, never forgiving him for selling out his country in 2002 world cup!!

Maybe not a Celtic legend as a football player but considering one of the best holding midfielders of all time was so desparate to stay true to his roots and play for the Bhoys at one point in his career I think overall he should be classed as a legend by the Celtic support.

I totally understand what your saying and to a major extent agree with it but he should at least be classed as a hero for all Celtic fans as he could have easily gone to any club in the world but he did everything he could to sign for celtic so he was a great example of someone that never let their fame and footballing ability get the better of them and he always remembered who his real club were so in that sense to me he is a legend as so many Celtic fans that are professional footballers would have, have done and will in the future go to bigger clubs for more money but not Keano

He didn't do everything he could, if that was the case he would have come to us on a bosman years before that.

And i don't understand how were his real club, he played for us not even half a season.

He still did nothing legendary for the team.

We are his real club because we are the club he grew up supporting and he never forgot that even when he was a world class football player at a world class team.
And he had loads of offers from the Premiership and other major teams in world football, Italy and Spain' major clubs were interested but he chose Celtic

All he wanted to be able to do was say "I played for celtic", he got that.

    Nothing more, nothing less.

Where did he go after us?

He was finished and that's all he wanted, just to say he'd done it.

Absolutely fantastic footballer, glad he played for us and i think his contribution to us when he was here is vastly under rated as well.

    Never a Celtic legend though.
