larsson on setanta

anyone else just see him on setanta there? He was saying how he loved his 7 years at the hoops and that they are they only team for him. Was also showing you clips of his testimonial game when he was in floods of tears walking off the pitch - i swear i was totally welling up with tears in the eyes and goosebumps all over just remembering being there! The guy is and always will be a true legend!

 

Was it a program on him or what?

 

I took the kids to the game in the summer, and he was taken off with a head knock after the first touch with the ball, I thought typical, but he cam back out and got a goal awesome.
I thought he would come back to us last season for a bit, and I know people say they wouldnt want him to rubbish his history, but I think it would be great.

Maybe one day he'll get into coaching

 

it was an interview lasting maybe about 10 mins or so mate - i was lucky to catch it, just turned the telly on and there he was declaring his love for the Hoops!

 

na, sorry i missed that though, i would have loved to see him back at parkhead possibly coaching our youth

 

hopefully mate, and hopefully if wee jordy is half as good as his auld man, he'll come sign for us when he's a bit older!

 

Legend am just glad i got to see him play was always something special when he played, wonder if we will ever have a player like that again.

 

I think the problem is there was a period where English managers didn't look north of the border, everyone assumed our footy was crap, now it's the opposite, the managers the Scottish game has put down there, coupled with the Champions league performances and the state of the national team has meant that they are looking to get our players.

I hate to say it but if Henrik was here now in his prime someone would be knocking on his door to steal him.

Man Utd tried to get Henrik while he was here, but he wasnt interested

 

he was saying that in the interview - that there were offers for him but his reply was "why would i have wanted to go anywhere else? I was playing in front of 60000 fans week in week out who loved and supported the team i was playing for" LEGEND!!

Top man, top player and a good human being into the bargain. Remember that line he came out with about how much he loved and felt loved at Celtic and how we were the club who made him as a pro. Just wish we could unearth another couple of Henrik's....what a player

 

Man united made about 3 bids for him when he was at celtic but they were turned down,

 

was on Inside the Spl last night too, was only on for about 5 minutes though, said his love for his current club doesn't match his love for Celtic.

 

I really hope he goes into coaching at celtic but does he not have a qualification to be a doctor ?
I just hope he turns his back on it and joins us
