Great post mate, agree with everything you said.

was the exact same myself, also loved primary school, hated it at the time, but missed it so much when i started going to high school.

I'm glad I posted this because reading through it all has given me a massive grin on my face!

I miss how fascinating things seemed to me back then.
I used to be absolutely awestruck when I was learning about other cultures. Seemed so other worldly to me. Now that I've been to a few of these places, the sense of wonder has disappeared.

I miss how excited I used to get on Christmas eve. That was amazing.

I also miss how cool the WWF seemed when I was 10. I thought it was fantastic back then.

I miss scooping up dog * with a lollypop stick and smearing it on the back of the padlocks on the shutters in Shawbridge Arcade, and then going upstairs to the car park and waiting for the polis to come by and check the padlocks are locked properly !
I also miss playing on rope swings, building bridges over burns, and building gang-huts.

I miss taping the charts, getting the wee glass cup at your grans house because you were too wee for the big cups, taking ginger bottles to the ice cream van, the gladiators, when your biggest problem was that your scab was stuck to your pyjamas in the morning, running..everywhere...all the time, sports day at school, and pieces and jam!!! I cant remember the last time I had a piece and jam!!! and when no matter what was wrong with you, it was nothing that your mum and sudocream couldnt fix :50:
