as robocop says drugs are for mugs, may all the junkies be out there heads and die while the rest of us stay in the real world, just dont come near me with a big issue.

I lost my best mate because of this drug. As well as many other things, he was nicking cash from our business to shove up his nose so we had no choice but to boot him out. I'm under no illusions how dangerous it is.

It's not my place to judge you if you do it but please be very, very careful.

 

i would never ever try drugs

 

i honestly can say i dont see the attraction of taking/using any drugs, smoke, alcohol, etc. All of them might make you feel good at the time but in the long run it just ruins your body, life and anyone connected with you. I can honestly say i will never try any of the *.

 

Coke is a greedy * drug, i can't believe how some people on here say they can control their usage, coke is as highly addictive as smack, coke will take control off you, not you taking control off it, it's like any other drug the more you use the more you need to get that buzz, it does seem more acceptable nowadays to snort some coke, when i used to snort it 15 years ago i was labeled a junkie, i used to dable at the weekend and then things started to go a bit out of control, i wised up to what was happening as i was acting like a jumped up * * on that *, * off my friends, my family, my girlfriend, and also my wallet. don't dable with this * you may feel good but your just acting like an abnoxious * * and you don't realise it.

my ex used to take it all the time, ALL THE TIME, he was aggressive, paranoid, nasty..... it ruined our relationship because he was a bully. He would spend my money etc on it too. Just had to get out of all that. I dont care what anyone says, if someone mentions it and you cant say no its a problem, and sooner or later it will grab you, it may take weeks months whatever..... its one of the most addictive drugs.

Highly destructive stuff, despite obviously being brilliant at the time. Leads to inevitable cravings (despite what anyone says), and reacts with different people in many differing ways. Some of my friends have been fine - "themselves" but just a bit more wired (thankfully, i was one of these folk).

Others used to get aggro as *, especially when combined with the customary wads of booze. Others just turned into complete imbeciles - thinking they were more powerful than * Batman.

Dangerous stuff - ruins relationships, potentially your nasal passages (you'll end up with 1 not too - see Westbrook), and by * is it a rip off.

By no means am i suggesting use of any illegal substance to anyone....but at least a bit of the Bob Marley is not quite so hideous.

Also, it doesn't carry a class A sentence, which is also * awful - one of those, and that's your employment opportunities limited vastly for life.

Look mate, i'm not a huge fan of the drug but i don't think you can write things that just are not true.

Cocaine is addictive but it is nowhere near as addictive as heroin, that is a medical fact. The vast majority of coke users can control their usage unlike with heroin.

I think everyone has experiences on drugs and giving an honest insight is very valuable, but to make statements up isn't. I think the problem in this country is that because all drugs are seen as bad by the government and NGOs and it means that once someone takes a less harmful drug and has prolongued positive experiences on it, it makes them less likely to believe what the government has said about other, more harmful drugs.

 

Good post mate - the idea of "cold turkey" after an equivalent amount of the Captain is simply not true.

On a differing note, years ago i had withdrawals after doing a LOT of the mary jane for a few months - went on holiday, and went from all to nothing. * my holiday good and proper.

Overall, there is a pattern emerging - none of this is good for you. I don't mind a smoke etc, but as for the remainder...i personally don't have any time for it. Each to their own.

 

if you find yourself taking it on your own (not socially) its time to stop...

 

That's what I love about this site...........we can talk about anything. Talking about such experiences can have a positive effect on the young guys who come on here

 

I disagree....im sorry. I work with this and you see this kinda thing all the time. You mean the MINORITY of cocaine users can control their usage and no doubt some can...when its a weekend thing. The vast majority of people become hooked and fast....wanting more and more all the time, if you start off with 1 gram on a sat nite, you can bet your bottom dollar that will increase. Cocaine users dont end up like heroin users because each drug has totally different effects. Cocaine users will still be able to work and do all the things they would normally do, heroin users on the other hand cannot.
