I sang Sean South at the recent huns game and was politely asked to stop by another Celtic fan.

    Thoughts?

I'd like to shake the man's hand who told you to stop singing it.

Why anyone would like to sing a song about a terrorist and a murderer is beyond me.

Sing it behind closed doors if that's what you really want to do.

I fail to see what is hard about that concept that some people can't grasp. Your defiance is only harming the club you support.

Wouldnt advise singing this at celtic park. There is a time and a place. However it doesnt offend me, i love rebel music but think that celtic park is a place for celtic songs.

I fail to see how it's stupid - recognizing the truth is hard, I know, but it has to be done.

I live in the Republic, a drive away from Garryowen. I know a lot more about this than you do.

You're one-eyed. The IRA are a terrorist group, who killed innocent people. How you can twist your way around this is up to you.

clap clap clap. Im sure you do. :56:

Sean South wasnt a great man no. He was one of the republicans I didnt like for he shared a belief of anti-protestantism. But hardly would I call him a murderer.

What makes an unsanctioned military any more murderers than a sanctioned military? The backing of a government? For what thats worth.

You are an expert because you live near Garryowen, Sean South was a brave lad who fought to remove British occupation from my country, if that makes him a terrorist and a murderer, so be it

Well i live in the North, and i find it perfectly acceptable to sing about our history, you live in a free state, that wasnt trampled all over by the british army terrorising and killing our people and treating us as second class citizens. Im not going to get into a debate with you however on this as this is a celtic forum.
