LOOKS LIKE THE ROW BETWEEN WGS AND AIDEN MIGHT BE THE REASON HE WAS LEFT OUT OF THE GAME ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT....I THINK WGS HAS HIS FAVOURITES AND MIGHT LET HIS OFF FEILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH PLAYERS MASK HIS GAME STRATEGY...

I think it was a mistake to leave him out. McGeady's form has been poor and I understand him being rested last weekend but for such a vital CL game he should have been back in.

I think he was right, he has not performed well this season, Maloney has been the better of the 2 for me. If only he had the balls to do it with the captain also.

I would have dropped Nakamura for McGeady. All Dead balls could have been left to Robson

Yes. McGeady was terrible against Rangers and has been for some time. I do believe he can perform better on the right but doesn't offer what Nakamura can to the side. Nakamura had a good second half on Wednesday and looked the player most likely to create a goal.

Wouldn't have made a difference, if he had dropped Maloney and the same result occured we'd have the same thread about him.

His touch looked very poor when he did come on, granted it's tough to get into a game later on.

Aiden's performance has been poor, yet I believe he would've risen to the CL occasion. I also believe Crosas and Loovens should've had their chance, but so does just about everybody else on that point.
