I too was at the game last night, utter PISH!!! It has been a long time since I have seen a Celtic side so devoid of flair, passion, drive, commitment, vision....shall I go on?

Some on here are saying..."FFS its only one result!!" how long do we keep saying that?

Some on here also say that winning is more important and that the only thing that matters is results...well I do not beleive in that philosophy.

As Big Jock said "I think it is important to win a match, but I think what is even more important is the manner in which you win."

you know why these * go mental at the the slightest excuse? cos they never liked strachan in the first place. *. i really hope wgs wins another title, and a good run at the uefa cup cos we have been spoiled the last couple of years. some fans think that cos we won the european cup in 1967 that that is the benchmark. wake up *, it'll never happen. and if you want to judge people on the quality of football, WGS teams PLAYS MUCH BETTER FOOTBALL THAT MON EVER DID, FACT. is it every week? na, cos the money he's got is *. people moan at this board, but people forget 1994 when we where this close to going under. at least wgs doesnt threaten to leave us at the end of every season, like MON did, even though he had to put up with half the pish.

i know better than to throw away my season ticket away just because of we're going through an era where we're not being "entertained" because i know in a few years down the line it will be totally different

Am not goanny even read this thread as i can guess the gist of it. What i will say is that i read two papers this morning and got the feeling that i must have been watching a different game from these so called journalists i think they like to call themselves. I thought it wasn't our best game performance wise but we were far from *, compared to what some of the pish we saw last season.

If any Tim is throwing in the towel because things didn't go our way last night then am not even goanny argue with yous all i will say is learn from your mistakes coz every last one of you gave up the ghost last season and look how that ended up.

We deserved to win last night and some of the individual performances were nowhere near as bad as they've been made out. Get a grip people, the stage is now set for us to go and pop the cherry on the road, mark my words you heard it here first

if u dont want ur season ticket can i have it? lol cos i stil want to support the club even aftr bein so * off last nite... any way the team didnt play awful, barry robson missed a penalty which he shud hav known betr than to blast it down the middle AGAIN, we had a goal disallowed tht wasnt offside and we missed a lot of other chances, on another night it could have been 3 or 4 nil to us..

Aalborg were as good, if not better than us in the first half. They still looked capable of scoring in the 2nd half when we were, allegedly, battering them.

IMO the goal was offside.

 

The crazy short sighted hot headed pish posted on daft threads last night and today make me seriously think the quality of posting on this site is going to the dogs and I cant believe some of the very worst offenders arent hundercover. I am pretty loyal to this site but go to celticquicknews and you will see a much more sane series of posts made by people who seem to have watched the same game as I saw.

The rush to sack WGS threads every time points are dropped is insane and frankly disgusting considering what he has done for us. Its hard to believe this in not hundercover windup. Either that or the standard of fan is really dropping and people are just behaving like spoiled kids who want everything perfect right now. I would just like to enjoy these winning years after suffering so many periods of failure. Why in gods name are some people whinging and raging their way through a period of success that noone has seen since the lions.
