Aye he looked decent but in fairness any pace merchant would the way Donovan defended him. Probably goes back to the inexperience next to him though, I’d imagine CCV would’ve been hounding him to get tight to the guy whereas Murray next to him was even more of a mess.

He wasn’t as bad as some are making out. Up until there 2nd he won most of his battles.

Obviously watched a different game. He got utterly roasted even though we played alright first half. Ironically he actually started the 2nd half better and actually got a bit tighter to the * for 5 minutes, then for whatever reason reverted back to standing 10 yards off him and he cut in and scored.

That lad he was up against is a good player, he’ll learn from that.

I still think he was decent further forward.

He was terrible pal. Kept backing off all the 1st half allowing his man to get into the box. He needed to engage him much further up the park.
I said pre-match it was a game for Ralston as it was going to be backs to the wall for at least an hour. I’d have considered brining him on after it had calmed down and we were in control.

Just a total * up playing him and Murray beside each other.

He was very, very poor. He’ll need to learn from that.

Coaches and AJ need to go and have a word with him about how to handle that.

I think unlike Murray he’s shown enough that he can get over this. Also didn’t compound a bad day with ridiculous errors like stupid penalties.
