I'll repeat what I said previously seeing as you haven't understood it, the squad isn't good enough to win every week. Change the formation, play some of those who were on the bench from the start, its not a Celtic squad capable of challenging for a treble and progressing in Europe. No manager or tactics turns that squad into what we expect. Best pool of players in the league is irrelevant. For the first time in years there are wingers and strikers at other clubs that would stroll into our starting XI. If you were to make a best XI of the SPFL at the moment, genuinely how many Celtic players would feature?

Its time for him to go, the whole team is stale as *!

Engels, Trusty, balikwisha, all big money buys and none about the first team, its time for a fresh start but * knows who the club will identify.

Rodgers doesn't select based on training performances ;)

He plays his favourits and than also does politics to proof a point. It's the one thing about him I absolutely hate because he sabotages his own team that way.

If it were a case that he was here for a few more season then you might be tempted to say lets just get to Jan and do some significant investment and give Rodgers time to change the approach to how we play.

But when hes a near cert to be off anyway its looking clear his approach is a default setting thats not going to change. And do you want to spend substantially in Jan on a manger who is going to be one foot out the door?

We will have to spend in Jan I think if we want to get over the line in the league so is it better to change fast forward the manager change now and give the new guy the finds in Jan as part of a wider rebuild?

A few years ago it would have been the entire XI. Part of the problem.

Teach your team how to take/defend corners and take free kick....ffs.Its not * rocket science just put the ball in the box from a corner and see how your luck, stop this nonsense of taking corners short and passing the ball back to defenders.

Another masterclass in man management. * *.

I remember at the height of Kühn's best form last season, Rodgers was asked about him. His response was along the lines of 'he's playing well but he could be doing much more from the defensive side'

    * me off at the time but had us purring so I let it go. In hindsight though I think it's probably contributed to Kühn wanting out at the first opportunity.

That's just one example, but to me it's part of a wider problem Rodgers has. There's Kyogo, Daizen, Taylor...all wanting out. This season multiple times he's publicly rubbished the standard of his own players.

He's simply just a bit of a * who a lot of players won't take to, no matter how talented they are.

Cannot wait to get him gone and start fresh with someone else. Am sick of bringing people back that's already left us but I'd make an exception this time for Ange. Won't happen but I wish it did. Tomorrow.

I mean you could say its our first domestic defeat of the season.. but we also failed to score v one of the worst Huns sides in history.. as well as the CL debacle..

He needs to find some answers and find them quickly.. but he has earned the right to try..

No one is expecting him to win the treble or make any progress in Europe this year.

We are expecting him to coach a side who are able to outscore the likes of Hibs, Dundee Utd, Kilmarnock and Motherwell.

Even Falkirk and bottom of the table Livingstone have scored ONE less goal than us. Both just recently came up from the Championship ffs.

We expect him to be able to outhink Barry Ferguson, Russell Martin, Steven Pressley, the Kairat manager and a bunch of other nobodies that have gotten one over him in recent times.

Our form in 2025 has been * disgraceful. A couple of half decent performances against a half decent Bayern side has done an awfully lot of heavy lifting since then.

Rodgers' form is beyond sackable. Reading any recent post by @Taz tells you that.

He is partly right but saying it that way is you losing the dressing room stuff :giggle1:

Let's hope it actually worked and the players go to the board to demand a new manager.

There are managerd out there that don't cost 3m a year and get more out this untalented squad.

What we got from the board during the transfer window was a * show.

But we are well past that now, we have a team that is regressing badly that should be playing far better than it is. If we have a manager that is not capable of getting some kind of performance that's on him.

You can see in how we are playing that it's a coached thing to just pass it about like that and not take things on. There's no real change, aye we changed shape but did * all differently after that.

He's the one that's picking the team and not making any kind of change against what's not working.

Are we weaker, yes, no doubt.

Do we have players that should be performing better yes.

But yet we still see the same * come out. Make a meaningful change to adapt to the current situation rather than sit through this grim *.

If I bracket my opinion on whether Rodgers is the problem with our season and whether it moves us closer to a solution to the season to put so much focus on him in general, I have to agree that today is largely on him. Bad team selection, mystifying substitutes and now horrifically bad man-management in that interview. He's had a mare today.

Oh * off. First we don't expect to challenge in Europe after the * transfer window, nor do we expect a treble, even though it should be possible.

But we do expect to win the league and we do have a squad good enough to do that.

Second, it's not "any isolated game" , it's * most of them where we're *, due to poor team selection, * tactics and puzzling substitutions.

Nonsense, all of that was expected this season before a ball was kicked. If you've adjusted expectations due to how * we've been then thats something else entirely.

The rest of your waffle is a direct consequence of failing to build a squad capable of those expectations.

All of that was an expectation at the start of the summer, don't revise history. We nearly achieved all of that last season. Changing your expections after a couple of months because of failure doesn't mean that they weren't the initial goals.

We're * as our squad isn't up to task for what's expected.
