Where does it say a PM is private and shouldnt be shown?

If you PM someone you dont know, you open yourself up to it being shown - especially on a forum with wind up merchants and peopl,e out for a laugh

Since you've been away, the debate has been whether this pigeon boy was real or a Mod/Gm invention. Seems he is himself. Unless that's another windup. The debate is now about pm's and whether they should be posted by other members cos Ellbhoys nice comments were posted. Basically that, and interpreting rules etc.

It was all in good jest anyway and should be taken as such. If anything, I now know to go to ellboy if I look like a pigeon

 

GF4 posted it, but the rules don't cover that. So he's done nothing wrong really.

 

First of all what's the point in reporting anything or sending you a PM, all you will do is post it up. So we may as well have it out on thread or are you now regretting this altogether and don't want to look worse than you already do?

Look their was nothing offensive in my PM that was put up on this thread. So their is nothing to be annoyed with on that score, just the fact their is now a severe lack of trust.

Whoever put this prank together, got their jollies out of taking the * out of not just me but many members on this site. A wee lesson in life, maybe you haven't heard of it, you should never bite the hand that feeds you. In essence that's what has been done here.

It also brings in to question how many more fake members are on the site, to entrap people , or will be in future.


However as I said in an earlier post their is no real harm done, it was a good joke and you got me good. So perhaps it's best just to leave it at that.

After all this is all nonsense, the real issue is what went on tonight in the CPL. Surely that should be the topic of discussion just now and not a childish prank.

 

Some of you are calling for bans when, if you read the rules, there is no rules on private messaging.

Personally and not because of any rule, whatever I decide to write in a PM I have no problem saying or being quoted in any public thread.

If you have a problem with the private message being public without consent, report it to the staff and we'll review the situation otherwise its just a case of whether you should have revealed such information to another member. Yor relationship to another member should dictate what you discuss via PM.

 

I think in futre * like this hsould be kept for April Fools or someing
