Okay mate, have a good one. Do you think he did it for a laugh? Or maybe one was training in a park a couple of weeks ago, and another likely dead on his feet cause he's our main outlet coming from the Swedish league on deadline day?

I’m all for sticking with a system and try to improve each week. It would be nice to see 2 strikers up front especially when you have over 70% possession. Subs were strange today I thought, should have kept Inheacho on longer.

I've no idea why Rodgers does a lot of things mate. And his decision-making has shown us up in a lot of games that's seen us fail to get the job done over the last year.

Tounekti didn't exactly look dead on his feet for example, did he? Iheanacho had just literally put the ball into the back of the net. I would be very surprised if he couldn't have stayed up top for another 20 minutes in a game we needed a goal in to help be an aerial threat.

You can't defend Rodgers. His results have been garbage in big games for a while now.

Okay so we should win every single game every season, is your point, apart from Rangers and in Europe? Wild.

Nobody is saying that...I'm saying it's down to the manager to ensure we do. This isn't just about Hibs. Rodgers has a list as long as your arm of baffling decisions and pish results, especially domestically, over the last year.

It’s the lack of incisive players that’s causing this. There were no complaints with Kyogo, Khun and Jota. The drop off in quality is ridiculous.

Aye mate that's exactly what I said word for word.

Aberdeen in the cup final. Rangers on 4 occasions this year alone. Kairat Almaty x2. Hibs today. Out of jail at Kilmarnock a couple of weeks ago through sheer luck.

You can't say he's getting the best out of the players he has. Only reason it's being accepted is because the huns are a total shambles

I can and am defending him. They literally track all the players fitness through metrics. Okay next point is just keep all your best players on the pitch for 90 minutes ignoring any kind of fatigue. * is this.

Already starting to see signs of his "influence" on Nygren and Tounekti.

    Players look over coached.

Ignoring any kind of fatigue? It was clear as day both players you're talking about were fine.

There may have been a plan in place to give them an hour or however long they got. But it's not because they were both * after it. My guess is it was to protect them for Thursday.

Now, if both players were genuinely * and couldn't play another 20 mins to help us get the job done, then fine. But you can't look at their performances when they were about to come off and say they looked shattered.

There then surely has to be a bit of movement in those kinds of decisions. Especially when you know the players you're about to bring on are absolutely dugshit. You're about to drop points, so aye you don't start taking off your biggest threats in a game.

So it's to protect them for Thursday but isn't fatigue related - got it. Honestly man, this isn't worth it.

We scored 112 goals last year, we've lost basically every attacker we had and replaced with punts, and remarkably we are struggling for fluency and to score goals. I cba.

So if he's never a striker how did he manage to look like one last season? Or does it no count?

He's been pish this season in both positions, obviously circumstances have contributed to that but saying Rodgers has got * to pick from is just so * simple minded.

Maybe he should try and man-manage his players so they don't want to turn it in or get out of dodge the second we're out the champions league. Oh and actually try a bit of variation in his tactics and style, maybe a decent shout.

    This.

Drop points, lose cup games, lose derbies, lose European qualifiers, play generally * football.....and it's never Rodgers' fault for any of it.

Yamada comes on at ibrox and improves the team and he's then dropped from the European squad and never seen again to prove a point.

If Brendan does leave in the summer of '26 (I hope he doesn't, btw, as I think he's the perfect fit), which club do you think he'll manage next?

20 of his 33 came as a starting LW. All 4 European goals from out wide.

The way some people will go to defend him is a bit ott, similar to those who refused to give him credit during his first two seasons back.

You can look at the situation and admit he's lost a lot of attacking players and the board have screwed him over whilst also admitting he's not getting the best out of our current set of players and that the overall football we've been playing is nowhere near good enough, both can be true.

Yes we arent going to win every game in the league this season, but we've got fairly lucky to have not dropped more points prior to this.

Outside the league, we should be comfortably beating Kairat Almaty over two legs. Fresh legs would have 100% made a difference and thats why any sane Celtic fan has our board as the main culprit for this mess, but he's, on paper, a good enough manager to get through that tie with the squad he had.
