Made a * if it not taking the dosh for him when we had the chance, and I've been one of his biggest fans since he signed.

He looks checked out tbh, I know he's not a natural striker but his positioning was atrocious all game.

Looks like he'd rather be anywhere but on the pitch for us.

He's never gonna be the striker we need, should have cashed in for a whole host of reasons. Another shocker from the board.

He was a disgrace tonight to be honest, completely chucked it and it showed in his level of performance.

He just needs taken out of the team now. His confidence is low, probably a fair chance that he's bound to at some point get burned out when you consider all the football he's played in recent years.

I get fed up of listening about anytime a big player for us goes through a poor run of form that they have jacked it because they want out. Sometimes players go through bad spells, its up to the manager now to take him out of the team because he's not offering us enough. Hopefully if the team picks their performances up he can give a few minutes and rebuild himself as well.

On current form it's difficult to see who might take him in January and what we might actually get but I hope we will see his best again before then.

Time to go son. Thanks but hope you get the move you desire. Do think he's definitely hit his peak last year though.

Never thought I would criticize him for a lack of effort, but here we are.

Why does there always have to be extremities?

Could it now just be that he's very low on confidence? Could it not just be that he's burned out, his levels have dropped and he needs to be taken out of the team?

No, he has to be a disgrace, he has to have "chucked it".

A man down. Needs a spell on the bench. Roll on January and punt.

Anyone with a set of functioning eyes could tell he wanted to be anywhere but there tonight. Thankfully the manager did too and hooked him cause we were far better for it.

Whether he wants to be or not, he’s being paid handsomely to represent the football club so the very least we as fans can expect is 100% effort every time he plays and he didn’t give that tonight. So yeah, it was a disgrace.

Really poor tonight, and deservedly hooked at half time.

    No it wasn't.

You're being utterly reactionary and ridiculous. His performances are not good enough, he's low on confidence, his body language is of a player who is struggling and doesn't trust himself. He was rightfully hooked at half time. His performance was way below the level needed.

To accuse him of not bothering and chucking it is the only disgraceful thing I'm seeing.

You are actually genuinely telling me you don't think he's bothered or trying out there? Give your head a shake.

It could be the fact he actually has said he’s wanted out for almost 8 months? Of course it isn’t his fault we’re a basket case of a club at the very top and we’ve knocked back a load of money to now stuck with a player who doesn’t want to be here. But to suggest that was simply a poor performance is naive at best.
