I’d say it’s a shambles, disgrace, joke but the reality is it’s not one bit surprising.

I find it hard to believe that intelligent guys who have been successful in other walks of life could be this incompetent tbh. The ‘self-sabotage’ theory is probably the most logical at this stage. They’re desperate to never be too far ahead of the Huns to keep this “old firm” * alive whilst always managing to do just about enough.

Any reasonably well run, forward thinking club would’ve left a basket case Huns for dead by now but it’s pretty evident that they don’t want that.

I thought he was very good on that to be fair..

He's another of the many saying it's a dictatorship and that Desmond is a major problem.....which we all know...

Something has to give here. This cannot continue. It's gonna seriously boil over. We're a big club being run like amateurs to the point it feels like they're deliberately trying to * us up..

    Been discussing this all morning.

These absolutely no danger these folk are so completely incompetent, literally to the point where they are not answering the phone to club officials willing to sanction paying money for players we actively want off the books.

There's something else at play behind the scenes. My tinfoil hat heed makes me think of a few scenarios:

    A) the board are literally not giving a * because the club is in motion to being handed over to others - unlikely, but possible.

    B) A strong SPL needs a strong Rangers. Board in collusion to self-sabotage and assist their pals south of the city.

    C) This is all one massive GIRFUY to the supporters who have constantly bemoaned/slagged/abused this wonderful board and all it's members for years.

Or something else. I refuse to believe these * are so idiotic and bufoonish to let it get to this point. What purpose does it serve them to have complete disharmony at the club and actively put us in to a position whereby we have lost revenue from substandard performances, and could fall further from grace should we lose cups and the league?

Something is rotten to the core, and answers must be given. Immediately.

Desmond is the "least" of the problems. He's a majority shareholder who doesn't need to put in any input - he can sit back, collect his share money and be part of the shareholders who have inserted x,y and z to run the club.

Although there's certainly a case for argument that IF this current heirarchy are so incompetent that their employers must step in and rectify this * show. He's done it in the past...

    Its * mental.

We probably won't hear anything from them either, they will be sweating like * how to dress up the upcoming accounts in as bad a way as possible.

    Be like

    Mr Nicholson, CEO
Before we get into things yes we did have £110million in the bank but it's not what it looks like, have you seen the price of electricity these days and we need to pay our wagebill and everything from that and thats after we just sold the season tickets, we need a new pitch next summer and the dressing rooms have still to be paid for, we've not got they big banners up on the outside either cause they cost a fortune and then we are heading into winter soon, heating the stadium will be mental. Plus we are going to give a 7 figure amount to the womens team and upgrade their training facilities. That trip to Kazakhstan wasn't cheap either and then we spent an undisclosed 9 figure sum on players in the window remember after this date. Rememeber covid that could happen again and before we know it we'll be down to our last few dozen million.

    blah blah blah

The last bit is what I've said loads. Why isn't he? Why isn't he and the other board members close to him getting a grip of this?

They either don't give a * or don't know what to do to fix it. Both equally as bad and no good to us..

He's certainly no the least of our problems..

Probably not even that into football, be lucky if he's been to 50 games in 30 year. He might just see trophies won constantly and be thinking "what a job these * are doing".

Rod Stewart's probably been to 10x the games and he is actually busy with work of his own to do, not just floating about the planet playing golf.

    D) P. Lawwell is presiding over a screwjob to hurt Rodgers as much as possible, after Rodgers had M. Lawwell fired. The aim is to try and get Rodgers to quit.

Really important we start preparing for a huge amount of work to be done on the squad now.

Last time we were in this scenario we were fortunate to get Ange in who had some intel on guys to bring in that made a huge difference. We may not be that lucky next time.

Manager, squad, recruitment, structure everything really needs to be addressed. Can see another 6/7 needing moved on in jan or end of season. Plus likely will need a new manager too.

This Summer has really left us in a bad place. We need major repairs.

Unfortunately your right. This summer shitshow has left us needing to do a massive amount of work in January and likely to get even bigger given Maeda may well be sold then. The damage Desmond and his board cronies have done to the team this summer is beyond comprehension. A season that should have seen us winning the league in a procession and having another real crack in Europe is now completely up for grabs. The only chance we have now in the league IMHO is if Brendan Rodgers really gets after it and does everything he can to get us over the line before he leaves next summer.
