We desperately need him to find some form and start scoring. I think he has something to offer, but not sure if it'll be to the required standard.

 

He looks like the kind of striker to me who if you threw him into Ange’s team he’d probably do ok, but I have my doubts about him making an impact in Brendan’s system, which has looked disjointed this season. At least he’ll get plenty of opportunities now.

 

He needs balls over the top of the defenders to get the best out of him. We saw how he rattled the Hun defence on Sunday when we started doing that. He won't get any service from that dysfunctional midfield of ours, so best just bypass it and punt the balls long to him.

I think if he scores one goal, he could well take off.

 

Ajax will pay us £25 million plus Dolberg for him in 12 months time. Desperately trying to delude myself.

 

I think this lad has something to offer. You dont get into the Japan squad these days unless you have some talent. Was he BRs signing i doubt it and he has seemed reluctant to use him, but I think given some decent service he will get goals domestically. Europe well, thats the least of our worries at the moment!

 

He definitely has potential no question but thats all it is potential. Would of course be delighted to see him get his first goal and go on a run after that when we return from the international break but right now we are in scarry territory when it comes to our striking options.

 

About time we got forced to develop these players we buy to develop but never do...

 

It’s mental that even if he’s total * and we go on to sign a prolific striker in January, in 2-3 seasons time he will be leading the line for us in massive qualification games anyway.

 

With the new wingers in place I think he will get opportunities put on a plate, cmon Shin it's your time to shine son.

 

Definitely want to see more of him. Hopefully Rodgers (if he stays) knuckles down and concentrates on what he's supposed to be good at...improving players.

 

Needs to start the next few games and once he’s get one that will open the floodgates hopefully.

 

Hopefully he can be the bright spark in what looks like like a dark grey season
