I think he stands out as exactly the type of player we could do with. A different type of player to O’Riley but I get a similar vibe that he could come in and hit the ground running.

A young guy who seems to have maturity beyond his years, a pedigree from a big team academy, excelling now with a bit of everything to his game.

 

Bumping this again. Moran and Encisio have moved on and Hwang seems to be off the market now. Think Dennis might now be a free agent. Jota Silva set to join Sporting.

Loans from England seem to be the only option this late in the window. Don't think there is any attacking option in Scotland right now that I think would massively improve us.

Having a look on the free agent list it's grim reading. The only ones I'd say I wouldn't mind. (Not that I think we'll get them or even try)

Aberdeen even managed to get Jesper Karlsson on loan. He was magic at Alkmaar a few yrs ago

 

We won’t but I see Porto released Marko Grujic he was a decent player but I see he has barely played in a couple of years.

Kamano was another who can play across the front 3 but this is due to how short we are.

As a box to box midfielder with a bit of presence Kristijan Bistrovic wouldn’t be a bad shout. Only 27 and played in Russia for CSKA for a good few years. Good engine, box to box type with a good strike of his right foot. There’s a bit of Stuart Armstrong 2016/17 about him. Probably not good enough again but is a bit different to what we have at centre midfield.

It wouldn’t be surprising if we get linked with Fousseni Diabate, he was at Leicester when Rodgers was there and had a decent season in Switzerland last year. Is a left footed right winger is free.

Gustavo Assuncao whatever happened to him he had high hopes? Only 25 still but playing with some low level Portuguese team now a free agent.

How do we not try and get Josh Brownhill in for our midfield he would be an excellent signing pay him a good signing on fee as we have the money we where supposed to spend on a centre forward still lying in the bank .
