Tbh, its actually informed guesswork to speculate that any hold up, with any deal involving our board is due to us trying to squeeze every last ounce of patience out of the players team regarding price.

If we're being honest nobody knows anything currently it's all rumours however that being said I wouldn't be shocked if Ajax came in paid the asking price and got a deal done quickly

Ajax bets on the return of striker Kasper Dolberg (27)
AMSTERDAM - Now that Brian Brobbey's transfer to Sunderland is in the final phase, Ajax is feverishly looking for a new striker. In doing so, the eye fell on an old acquaintance. Kasper Dolberg is a distinguished candidate to fill the vacancy in the Johan Cruijff ArenA.



The Dee has now been polled and has indicated that he would like to return to Amsterdam, where he was already active between 2016 and 2019 and experienced his breakthrough as a professional. Ajax is exploring the possibilities of realizing the transfer in the short term. The transfer period closes Tuesday at midnight.

The 27-year-old striker is under contract with Anderlecht, where he is stuck until mid-2027. The Brussels club is open to a transfer, because Anderlecht is shy of money after missing out on European football. The Belgians were eliminated in the play-off of the Conference League by AEK Athens.

Celtic has made an offer of 9 million euros on Dolberg. If the arrival of the Dane does not prove feasible, Ajax will switch to the next striker on the list.



Dolberg has had a good season at Anderlecht with 24 goals in 45 games and is already on his shot again this season with 5 goals in 9 games.


During his time at Ajax, the Danish international, who gained a reputation as an ice rabbit, scored 45 goals in 199 games. After Ajax sold him to OGC Nice for more than 20 million euros in 2019, Dolberg also played on loan for Seville and TSG Hoffenheim, after which Anderlecht took him over from OGC Nice for 5 million euros two years ago.
