    I'll be shocked if it happens.

    For one, it's a player you've heard of under the age of 30 and I genuinely can't remember the last time our club signed a player that fit that bill.

    Second, you need to be quick to get a deal like this done. Transfer deadline, other suitors in the mix, you need to move fast. They haven't done that as the rumour's been out there for days. We don't do quick business.

    Third, Idah has been recalled. If this was a goer, that wouldn't be the case. We would do without him on Sunday and play Maeda through the middle. We'd never risk Idah getting injured and the whole chain of events leading to Dohlberg's signing coming undone.

    I'd like to be wrong but this club rarely surprises me when it comes to transfers.

    We’ve no been gaslit nor was it a giant rouse. He’s clearly the number 1 target for the striker position.

    However, given Idah deal is oven ready and Anderlecht will know we have money plus the fact there’s now another club involved - they will be extorting us and you know what our board are like with that game…
