Swansea still need a striker so I would be surprised if they give us much time to get another deal sorted before they move on. Probably get today and that's it.

If we dont sign Dolberg today then Swansea will look elsewhere and rightly so. Just because we are * as * doesn't mean other teams should be.

 

Of we don't sign Dolberg by 9pm today the deal is off and we are stuck with him. Which is a shambles. I suspect the Celtic hierarchy have anticipated that this situation may arise and the fact someone came in for Idah did come out the blue, why else would the offer Kenny a new deal? The whole situation is madness. Maddening at this point, absolute * show.

I am at the stage where I am actually feeling sorry for Idah because if he is still here come tomorrow and he is in the squad he will get dogs abuse and that ain't fair on Idah.

 

Apparently Swansea have agreed a fee for another striker from the MLS

 

They’ve waited till the now couple days before the window shuts and then bid £7m on Idah.

They’re £2m more competent than us but that’s still very incompetent

Nah ill cheer him on. If he plays then he's not chucking any toys out, he's being a professional and thay deserves respect. He'll be gone, just we work slow.

 

My company has a training centre down in Neath so was messaging one of the boys down there and he thinks the deal is off.

Unless he's training the folk on the board then why would be know anything more than any * on twitter

 

I doubt he knows anything but were messaging back and forth about it and mentioned he thought it was off.

 

I don’t know as I am on the outside looking in and not party to the facts, what is obvious is the relationship between the board and the manager is seriously broken.

 

Like I said the failure by the board to deliver is the issue

for the money, a dreadful signing IMO and not one I or anyone I know wanted made for that cost at the time. Crazy amount for a player of his (limited) ability. Again, Norwich fans were in laughter

This would be the final nail in the coffin for this transfer window if we miss out on a £7m fee for Idah because we are too incompetent to by a replacement.

 

See if we had got him on a loan to buy at the time with figure being 3-4 million I dont even think we would be having the conversations we are having right now
