I watched a lot of him the last 2 seasons playing for Anderlecht and he was quality for them. Whats even better he seemed to be a player that was on the rise too getting better season to season so really hoping this deal gets done.

 

Most pessimistic guy I’ve ever come across it’s as if you want bad things to happen. Just to say ha told you so

Yes, I said he was useless and absolutely finished here. Which was correct. We wouldn't be selling him otherwise. I also pointed out how his goals were generally when games were done and we were already winning. Also correct. Which is why he hasn't even been close to finding the net this season so far and why we're happy to let him go. His movement was never, ever "top class" as you said.

His career is impressive. Can you name a recent striker we've been close to signing with a similar or better level? I can't think of many. Its not like we're about to fork out £20M on him he looks every bit of the rumoured transfer fee. Looks great business. What I don't understand is how you could be defending a £9M utter diddy a few weeks ago yet pouring cold water on this potential signing? Makes no sense and screams of hypocrisy to me.

Not sure why you're trying to tie me to some definition of "tearing it up" here. I never used that phrase nor do I demand that a new striker scores over 30 goals this season. I think he'll massively improve our forward options but with what we have at the moment, thats not hard.
