My worry about this type of singing is he's another right-footed LW. We have not signed a Kuhn replacement. Nygren is our only left-footed player who could slot in as the RW. I would certainly take this lad but why we bringing him & Balikwisha who are both right-footed LW predominantly.

You say he’s better than what we have but he’s done nothing in Europe for them regarding goals or assists.

Visually Orjaeseter looked a more languid technical classy dribbler where as this guy looks a little bit more speedy and like a Jota style dribbler.

I watched a few games live when I thought we were getting him and he created a lot. Got them up the park. Low centre of gravity. Pacey. Could go inside or out. Had loads to his game..

This guy doesn't look as good to me. No really anything that stands out anyway, even though he is probably alright..

Get someone in on loan to cover for Jota, try and get him that came on for Arsenal at the weekend the "new Kaka" or that Greek boy from Brighton who I think is a striker but has played as a 10 and on the right or whoever, must be good quality youngsters going about who are 16/17/18 at big clubs who could come and play for a season.

 

By the looks of things Murray will be ahead of Simpson Pusey.

 

Watched him a few times in Sweden this year. Really fast and creative player, but not getting enough goals as expected. I think only 2-3 goals so far in about 20 games this season, as a winger. Better stats with the assists though. But playing for a top team, I think the numbers are ok, not more. Should be better. You can see he got some talent and could develop, but he has not at all been outstanding. Just recently signed with Hammarby, so he will be on a long term contract. Hammarby has been a power house in Sweden when it comes to player sales, been selling players that barely played any games for a lot of money (when compared to other player sales from the Swedish league). They will require a good transfer amount, so would be really surprised if they let him go for less than 6 million pounds. I would not go for him for that kind of money. If we pay that, I think its because of pure desperation (maybe that’s where we are though)

To be honest, I think the ship of going for the best players in the Scandinavian leagues have sailed (if our maximum is 3-4 million). For that kind of money you can only get players soon to be out of contract (like Nygren), or really young players who have not had there breakthrough. Otherwise we are looking at a level below the best players, unlike what we did 7-10 years ago.

 

Seen a post saying hes scored like 7bgoals and 9 assists since 2018/19, lol

Also, just want to add. I don’t think Tounekti adds more than just squad depth at the moment. He is not better than what we already have, and he would not be a starting player. If we want to add something and give him time to develop well perhaps, but I think he needs one more year in Hammarby.

 

I think he is, why not just get Breum then who can cover in the middle and wide like Nygren though.
