Apart from 3 months or so last season there's never been the same buzz or belief that were obvious during his 1st spell. He never used to lose to sevco, now he can't beat them. He never lost at Hampden, now he has. He never lost in the cups, now he has. Rodgers usually takes over a team, improves them, has a few good years and then it goes off the boil. Exactly what we're seeing here. He's had no help from the board but he's not blameless.

 

Ange wasn't very good in Europe though. His football was very exciting though. If he'd stayed he would have received the same summer signing in 23 Rodgers got and I don't think he would have done much with them either.
