Agreed brown was slaughtered in his last few seasons at celtic but still put a shift in.

Agree to an extent, but he was also * abysmal in both games and is our most experienced and widely accepted as our best player so deserves every bit of criticism that comes his way like the rest of them do.

Him as a 6 is retarded. Hope we soon get a manager that sees this and signs a proper DCM. McGregor can still contribute but in his natural position more forward.

 

Should no longer be an automatic 1st pick. Been a couple of yards of it a year now.

He's going to go down the exact same route as Brown did, he's already lost a lot of pace and that dynamism is gone.

He can't be guaranteed to start anymore.

 

I get the point your trying to raise but for me we been down this road with Broony. No doubt, like Broony, callum has been a fantastic player for us but it doesn't make him immune from aging or criticisms.

I don't blame callum though. What most clubs do to support their long serving superstars is get a promising talent to share the role with them for a gradual transition. Most clubs also support player like callum by making sure they have ample quality about them. Neither of these things have really happened.

I am big fan of callum but another thing I disagree on is whether he was one of the worst performers tonight. He evidently was. He played maybe two forward passes all game (one being a very good incisive pass), the rest were not only backwards but all risky backward passes that nearly cost is within the 90 mins itself.

I think there are plenty of comparisons to Broony here. Towards the end, that's exactly all Broony dis, backward and sideways passes for 90 minutes. Callum is going exactly the same
