    If Idah got sold and we bring in Vardy, that’d be worse than what I’m annoyed about with the prospect of Vardy already.

    I’ve been consistent in wanting Vardy. But as a 3rd option, not even quite 3rd joint 2nd depending on game by game.


    Like, say if it was like this time last season? Kyogo, Idah and Vardy I’d love as options.

  3. I don’t mind vardy as a stop gap for a season but the thing that would annoy me most is why not sign him before now if that’s who we are genuinely looking at.

  4. We aren't signing Vardy..There have been no credible links for a start and the noises are clearly coming from Vardy's camp or Vardy himself.

    Why are we not all over Miovski when a lot of us on here would have taken him before Idaho...

  11. Vardy could be in his 60’s and still comfortably better than Miovski… he’s the same level as Idah

  14. I hope for Vardy. Perfect to bang them in for a year. Still rapid, still play full games (last season) and the finishing dont really go away.

  15. He is so overrated on here its unreal.

    A decent player who I would take as back up, but by all accounts Girona are wanting close to the £6.5 million they paid, which he isnt worth.

  19. I didn't say he was.

    But if its a choice between Vardy for a year who played over 2500 mins still in the EPL last season scoring 9, or Miovski who scored 2 in 17 in La Liga I'd take Vardy even for a year and keep looking for a longer term solution.

    Miovski went through about 2 ten game goal droughts at Aberdeen. Don't think he is consistent enough personally.

    I'd have taken him over Idah at the time. Not now.
