He is an absolute unit, once he's fully fit and used to playing week in week out could be some player. Physically he's probably in the class of like McTominay, mind Strachan was slagging the physicality of Scottish players, he looks the best we've produced physically since fucknos who.

I always like to hear Rodgers echo what we fans have seen as well.

Rodgers has started the season with a good strategy. If we have a midweek European game, which we more often than not will, then start guys like Murray. He's more than capable in the SPFL and cups.

Hes looking promising, has a few lapses in him but hes only young but been inpressive so far in these early stages.

Points to an excellent attitude, when he first broke through he was lanky. His shoulders are absolutely massive now, he’s clearly been tanking the gym.

Given his height, you'd hope he'd be more of a threat at attacking set pieces.
Maybe (hopefully) that's still to come

Played some really good forward passes but a tad sloppy with a few ones also, was an awesome recovery from one pass he gave away late in the game. He will improve every game, actually be ideal for game management for CCV

It's exactly those types of positive passes that I love to see. There have been far too many games under Rodgers where our CBs take a few touches and just pass it sideways. Whereas Murray seems keen to play a first time pass forward at any opportunity.

Exactly this, just to see a CB have the vision to play a slide rule pass is always such a positive for the player going forward.

I think the role of CB over the years has been typecast, defend at all costs and be good in the air, but don't get any ideas above your station and try to play fitbaw lol.

It makes a lot of sense to employ a CB to do this as it frees up a midfielder to get in a forward position, rather than needing someone to drop deep every time to collect the ball.

And so * if a few passes go astray, not as if a team like Livi is going to punish ya

He scored from a corner last week!

  13. Much like Welsh when he first came in a didn't put a foot wrong and looked decent, it seems like Murray is also looking like a capable CB so given the concerns over rotation. Unlike Welsh who struggled.for game time. Hopefully Murray sees more game time because we could really do with a "new" CB breaking into the squad.

Cleary is still learning but looks very promising as a solid back up to CCV. Has done well overall in his 2 appearances so far this season.

What really impressed me was his passing, taking on the passes to break the press instead of the boring side to side going nowhere. Give the boy a run in the team.
