I’m the same, I want to watch Celtic compete at Champions League level. Sick of one step forward, two steps back.

It’s not Brendan’s fault, it’s the board systematically underinvesting in the squad that is the problem.

I’m sure you can find something better to do than sitting up to 4.30am in the morning to watch this squad which has been criminally underinvested in.

If the board try to sack Brendan, it shows you they are the problem and are a bunch of spineless shiesters.

Absolutely brilliant at getting top money for our players.

Absolutely shocking at properly investing money in to the team to make us better.

    Celtic board in a nutshell.

Without sound an absolute *, it is that simple.

Fans giving over their own money to this club is what's hurting it now.
It's lining the pockets and justifying the arseholes in charge
    They listen to nothing else.
The chants mean nothing to them if they still see fans sipping their hands in to their own pockets

If we want changed fans need to do it and it comes with a small risk.

The mindset we are dealing with here is one where they won't be sitting today wracked with worry about under investing. They'll be patting each other on the back if we go out saying, phew, just as well we didn't invest, well played chaps.

    A self fulfilling prophecy.

It's really not that simple. You're simplifying it but it's not easy.

And then the * will go and spend some money based on a "Europa budget" which is even more frustrating of the board

Because we should have spent the equivalent of what a Europa league budget is long before now. Giving the players the best chance to get through the UCL qualifiers and then add to that squad next week for the added UCL flair if we needed it.

You don't want to fund something, you stop funding it.

It's an emotional decision for fans and this is what the board prey on.

But fundamentally it is that simple.

I do get though, it's a massive pull on the emotions for fans and some will struggle with it, I don't judge or slate anyone for that decision as it is emotionally a tough one, hence I don't wanna sound like an absolute * about it.
But it is a simple thing to do when you remove the emotions

Can wait till the AGM when the article to reinstate Nicholson as the CEO passes with a 98% approval or some garbage.

Will never be ousted by an AGM vote would love if everyone of them take a massive hit in confidence from the shareholders.

But they’ll be quite happy with the dividend payments hitting their accounts to care

There is no excuse for that. The money is there to vastly improve the team to walk the domestic trophies and acquit ourselves better in Europe.

So a Celtic supporters group can’t ask supporters to not invest in merchandise until money is spent?

Should be a black ban by fans on tops at a minimum. Done at the start of next summer, fans don’t buy tops until money is spent, if the Green Brigade or the likes makes this plea with other fans, it becomes obvious who is undermining the fans because they’ll be in a new top, so people won’t want to be seen as that person. You could leave the club with minimal merchandise revenue and a bag full of tops they can’t sell.

    So true.

And then they'll watch us get shagged in the europa. This is my issue. We should avtually be thinking right OK let's invest and if we don't qualify worst case we will have some new assets in the team and we can have a right good go at going deep in the europa.

To have this attitude of UCL or bust is an absolute joke at times.

There is cultural rot at Celtic at boardroom level.

I have the fantastic experience of working with really innovative large corporates in my day to day job; however, I also have the experience of dealing with businesses who have archaic senior leadership teams who are incredibly conservative in nature. I can see it a mile away that the latter represents Celtic and that culture of staleness tends to transcend through the business as a whole.

There’s a saying which I live by. You need to run as fast as you can just to stand still. Most of the best run businesses in the world understand that too. The SLT at Celtic just do not. For what it’s worth, I don’t know the nuances with Dom McKay and how he structured deals but he gave the impression of someone who fell firmly into the former category - fan engagement, deal execution and how he projected at interviews.

That's my big problem also. It's my money going into those greedy * pockets.

I work hard and at times im stressed out my nut and football is supposed to be a get away from all that *. Instead we get hoodwinked year after year by these * who dont give a single * about the common fan. As long as the money keeps coming they are over the moon.

I only manage to get to one game a year from England due to other commitments but I'm genuinely not even arsed about going up this year. That's what this board have done to most supporters. To not even have got a winger yet is an absolute shambles.
Say about domestic success etc and taking Bayern to the last minute etc etc. We've been held back by these * for too long

They don't even seem to give a * about the potential CL revenue worth 10s of millions, really bizarre. :43:

All the sack the board stuff I agree with, BUT it will not change a thing as they they are just the puppets to carry out orders and take the heat.

The Desmonds need a fan revolt against them and that's who really needs the pressure put on them, Only then will we see change when they cannot hide and are held to account.
