If you’d said 4 weeks ago after Pusey came in that we will make no additions prior to our CL qualifier I wouldn’t have believed you. And that’s even knowing how bad we’ve been with transfers before. Actually unforgivable and hugely unprofessional. Please please let us get 4 or 5 goals up on Wednesday then we can turn on that board and give them dogs abuse. They 100% deserve it

 

I suspected it on the basis that there were no names or murmurs at all at that point. This is what makes things so worrying right now. We take around 2 weeks to conclude deals from when the links emerge to announcing the signing. We don't have any links right now. People need to resign themselves to the fact we are probably looking at 2-3 signings before deadline day as a best case scenario and if we do get those I can see at least two of them being loans. I don't think we will have any new player involved in the matchday squad for Ibrox in 12 days time.

You’ve answered your own question here our window starts at 7:01pm on the 1st of September.

It’s not like we have an away derby and CL qualifier (literally biggest games of our season) before then.

Given how our board logic works, we once side CCV then so it’s a great time to do business. Whilst ignoring Nat Phillips etc. just like we don’t shop in South America because we have had 3 players from there in 30 years and none of them worked out.

We usually announce a few days after it’s been confirmed by everyone apart from the club and a few weeks after first story pops up.

We don’t do surprise/last minute signings really unless it’s the final day.
