Can't believe people would be against this. Proven goalscorer, lots of experience, runs himself into the ground everytime. Who cares if he's 38...he could easily play for a couple of seasons.

I'd rather sign vardy than Strelec or Munteanu who have proven nothing in their careers

I don't think we're signing two strikers this window, if Vardy comes in that'll be that for strikers.

He's far better than Idah for me, going into the season with Idah as our first choice would be suicide, even with the Huns being pish. Id have much preferred Munteanu over him, but I think I'd take him over Strelec.

My hope is we bring a LW in and Maeda goes back up top, loan out Kenny for a year. Idah I'd prefer he goes but I suspect we'll give him until January.

I do think he'll do good here tbh, he had a good season for Leicester last year and he's still got a bit of pace. In saying that, it is a desperation signing, but at this point we just need bodies in.

 

Just imagine if he came in and scored at Ibrox. It would be headloss like we have never seen before

So we suddenly think we need a striker.

After signing Yamada and giving Kenny a new deal!!!!!

After scouting(if indeed we do that) all we can come up with is Jamie Vardy.

 

There is no doubt he has qualities that would possibly help the squad especially our other forwards with his experience.

But in all honesty is this the best we can get all window? Really?

Clearly the powers at be are just a * shambles and this is the last role of the dice.

Anything cheap as *, now I would see the point if we got him in right away and got a full pre season out of him.

But we haven’t and he’s going to take time to get match fitness plus our tactics.

This is my issue with the way we are ran, just a * joke club regarding our on the pitch recruitment.

 

Has the movement and the finishing ability to make a big impact up here.

Would rather see us invest in a long-term option but let's be honest, successful strikers ain't spending more than a couple of years here anymore.

 

If we have a chance of bringing Vardy in then it's a no brainer for me. He will score goals in the SPLF. Could play a bit part in Europe.
