  1. Complete slap in the face to Dane Murray.

Rodgers record for bringing though youth players in both spells here is * disgraceful

  2. I think Murray will be 4th option. He really shined in the close season friendlies, and Brendan likes him.
    CCV, Scales, Pusey and Murray.

    Trusty and Welsh moved on.

I would be happy with that.

  3. So your happy to go with 4 cbs where one is good but injury prone, 2 are development players who have barely played senior football and the other is a donkey?

Sorry when the * did we become Aberdeen?

The only way this deal is anywhere near acceptable is if we are punting Scales.

Selling Trusty for £4-5 m and replacing him with a 19 year old on loan from man city is the final straw in this window

  4. "Quickly Identified"... We've been calling out for months

  5. Yup

  6. I wouldn’t Scales is dogshit and trusty is better than him Scales is a liability tbh. So it should be Scales and Welsh who move on

  7. Scales, a 19 year from man city here for a year on loan and Murray as our back up just looks so weak on paper.

  8. Scales is a bit like Taylor for me. Does fine against weak opposition and looks decent at times, but against better sides he’s shown to be way out his depth.

  9. I sincerely hope he picks some other club. We really need to give minutes to academy players anyway.

  10. No option to buy is a waste of time in my opinion. Would rather the Liverpool option if that's the case

  11. You wouldn't imagine City would let him come up here to 4th choice I think if he comes up he'll be sharing the jersey with Trusty and Scales will move down the pecking order which is a bit * on Murray

  12. I’ll take it. Don’t rate Scales or Trusty

  13. I think it makes sense to trust Murray. Ideally we have a situation where he can work towards starting games, personally i've seen enough to think he can make the step up. Big risk though which any Celtic manager would hesitate to take. One thing I think that folks can easily forget is about Europe and the domestic rule so players like Murray should be regarded as not just potential but special talents, and without a good youth setup it makes sense to give them first team opportunities

  15. Not rating Scales or Trusty is no reason for us to sign some guy who gives us no return. This move is a waste of time as are 95% of the utterly pointless loan deals we conclude.

  16. I wouldn’t be too sure, they have so many players who leave for lower fees too.

But you have a point about him being English

  17. Nah Ill pass we stuck 4 past them when he played so is he really all that? Stick with what we got and a permanent buy.

  19. Rodgers hard on for the EPL is infuriating. Continually thinks it's the be all and end all. Know doubt he thinks bcoz this guy has came through city's academy he's automatically better than Murray who's came through ours.

Thank * Tierney came through under Deila bcoz if it was 6 months later I have serious doubts if Rodgers would have given him the opportunity
