It takes us about 2 weeks to sign players we have bids accepted for. We are nowhere near meeting the fee so I can't see us signing him before then. I think we are unlikely to have anyone in the door before the CL qualifiers realistically unless its a loan deal.

 

Conspiracy I know.. but the incremental bid increases reeks of when Lawwell had full control.

Nicholson has been slightly better on actually making reasonable bids, but it seems we've devolved.

Celtic, Rangers' archrivals, are still interested in teammate Breum. The Scots made an initial offer of €1.5 million earlier this summer, which Go Ahead laughingly rejected. Celtic recently increased their offer twice, but the transfer fee was nowhere near what Go Ahead wanted for the Dane.



Breum, like Antman, is on contract in Deventer until mid-2027. The attacking midfielder joined from Odense BK two years ago. A switch from left winger to number 10 proved to be a golden opportunity for Breum, who scored ten goals and provided five assists in the Eredivisie last season.
