Brilliant performance from him today, he's settled in really well and so comfortable on the ball. Nice range of passing too.

Very few leagues you can get such a obviously technically proficient defender for 250k.

To think some were saying we should give up on taking punts on Japanese players like the duds haven't cost a pittance.

First time seeing him play in person today and he’s definitely ready to be in our squad this season and make a contribution … I wouldn’t be loaning him out.

It’s almost tough to gauge how fast/athletic he is bc he’s so * calm on the ball. Finds the right man, creates space for himself. Pretty impressive to watch so far.

Ditch the loan. He's better than the 3 left backs we had on the books last season.

Scales and Trusty both performing well over last few games but I wonder if we will see him play CB in the games were we play teams who just come and park the bus.

That passing ability would be a great asset in games like that. Probably only issue is that's likely to be the games we'd want to rest KT

Looks like he could do some damage if the little things a few of the boys are doing now could get sharper in the coming weeks... There was some interplay that was just the wrong speed or timing and things... They'd carve certain teams if we get it right... :boxing:

Honestly think he could slot into centre mid as well in the future, his vision and passing is already of a high level. Very impressed.

    I was also impressed today.

Keep him around the first team with game time.

Very easy on the eye and can zip it in tight spaces really calmly. Impressive start.

Also been very impressed with his passing. What impressed me most today was his pass with his right foot, when it came onto his right I thought *, then he effortlessly played the perfect pass. Keep him around, don't loan him out.

Looks like a fine piece of business from the club. So far looks like our new back up left back is a big improvement from our previous first choice left back. Very excited by the prospect of rotating him and Tierney throughout the season

With his build and mental attributes, there's no reason he can't become a complete left back. Vision, dig, composure, speed, height. Very excited about his development.

One reason that I wanted Taylor to stay as back up was for having the option to change things up with his ability to work centrally.

But looks like this boy has the tools to play invented & also looks like he can play traditional full back just fine.
