Yeah it's a bit ridiculous to expect him to come straight here , he will have returned to Japan to get some things in order first most likely

It's more a thought than a strong opinion.

Only time will tell I guess.

Just looking at it from his point of view, I don't think he will see any reason to stay. He came back to rescue his legacy and he's done that in spades already. From a footballing point of view, there's not much more he can achieve here. I guess there's the EL; but that would require him to lose a CL qualifier and Rodgers, like Ange, doesn't think that way.

There's also the fact that he will want another crack in England and the longer he stays in the SPL, the harder it becomes to sell himself.

I'm just happy he came back and did this and wish him all the best. I'll be delighted if I'm wrong and he signs an extension; but I won't feel anything but gratitude if he leaves. It's pretty unlikely the next manager will be the same standard as Rodgers and Ange, so I'm just enjoying it while it lasts.

I can't see him back in the EPL. What's he going to get out of it, aside from money (which he doesn't need)? The best he'd get down there is a lower table team. He's been in that league plenty. Left under a bit of a cloud at a relegated team. His stock will be low.

He's said plenty of times his family is happy in Scotland. If he doesn't sign an extension, I wouldn't be surprised if he has some time out of football.

And I wouldn't be upset if this is his last year. 3 years is enough, I think.

I get that, but I’ve also got a touch of careful what you wish for. The football under Rodgers was dreadful the last season of his first time here. Think the football had gone a bit that way from February on last season, but he wins things with us. I’d like to see us more enjoyable to watch but hopefully he can see it and has learned from the first time. Maybe the players he hopes to bring in will bring more of a zip to our play. Obviously Jota was a big loss in how we played. Put it this way I lived in terror of Martin O’Neill leaving and of Ange leaving but don’t have that anxiety over Brendan

He's not going to get one of the big teams or even one of the second-tier teams like Spurs or Villa; but there are plenty of mid-table teams who would look at him IMHO.

    Hadn't seen this one.

Shows some goals from 2023, too. He looks rapid. I'm actually excited to see what he can offer.

He only cost the same as Maeda and Hatate though not ten million, we're a shambles from top to bottom and our scouts have no idea what they're doing.
