    Absolutely loved him when he was here but I don’t know what it is with him. The whole lazy French thing is maybe a bit of a stereotype, but with him it has some truth.

    Aye. Not wanting to get into this argument again...but he scored 22 goals the Covid season. For some reason he gets hit with the brunt of the criticism. Probably as he was our best player at the time.

    That season was an anomaly for so many reasons. His form wasn't AS blistering as previous seasons but compared to other players who never get mentioned as much he was good.

    I always called him 'Nitcham' cos it's easier to say. As a lazy * himself, I think he'd be okay with it.

    I would sign Edouard on the understanding that we look to sell him within the year. It's a * great model. We buy a player, we sell him, he flops, he comes back, we sell him, he flops, etc.

    Would take him back for nowt but wouldn't expect prime Edouard from before straight away.

    But I think the fact his career has went this way sort of shows that he is a bit of a lazy git and there is nothing you can say to me that will convince me he didn't half * the covid season.

    Lennon has since said he wanted away from us.
