Cracking player but hasn’t worked for him at at Inter and at that price he’d be worth it. Perhaps AJ could have a word.

 

See the funny thing with Nakamura is I agree he is a very good player but I bet those who don’t want Balikwisha would want Nakamura. When you actually watch them they are very similar players.

Good technical players who have decent pace but not super fast, more rely on their intelligence and technique than they do their physical attributes. Both take set plays for their team.

Obviously the big difference is Nakamura hasn’t got the injury baggage but he would cost twice the price.

I like Ito as well reminds me of a younger Forrest in that he is a right footer that likes to actually play on the right and get to the byline rather than come in. I haven’t seen him for a while but at the right price he would actually be a good winger option to cover Jota until he has recovered.

I think I said it before you could actually fill most of the positions we are looking to from the French relegated sides as they each have a few good players.

Not from a relegated side but there is also a left back whose contract is up at Toulouse called Gabriel Suazo who is a Chilean International and has good attacking output and physicality. On a free he would be good cover for KT.

 

Junya Ito has always been a standout player for JNT. Love him.

 

Had a watch of the Birmingham vs Sevilla game to see if Kyogo would get a run out and that Christoph Klarer for Brum had a great game. 25 yr old Austrian CB bought for 4 mill last season. Got proper stuck into the game....looks like he's had his beak broken about 20 times.

 

I know it’s probably nonsense but see the tentative links to Isak Jensen at Viborg not to be confused with Jansson that moved to Nice. I would definitely take him, he looks a talent and wouldn’t cost a massive amount. He has a very distinct upright dribbling style that kind of reminds me a bit of how McGeady used to dribble. He also has pace though and decent stats for only being 21 both attacking and defending from the front.

I would take Serginho their right winger too, more a traditional tricky dribbler that gets a good number of assists, that is available for €4m.



Other names that have been mentioned before like Oliver Antman are also tempting as he has pace and power in abundance and his assist record last year was excellent.

Another boy we should be keeping an eye on at Salzburg is John Mellberg (Son of Olof Mellberg) just broke into the Salzburg 1st team and got his first call up to the Swedish national side. 18 yrs old plays CB. seemed to have some great games against the bigger sides in Austria like Sturm Graz, Austria Vienna and Rapid Vienna. And at 6ft 3 he's no dwarf.

 

For striker a bit of a Giakoumakis type in someone that’s done very little before this season but Ibrahim Diabate at GAIS in Sweden, he is a 25 year old Ivorian who is on fire just now.

He is pretty much a lead the line type striker like Giakoumakis was but with a bit of pace. A brute of a guy who is good at getting the ball out his feet and generates some amount of power on his shots from a standing start. Scores with headers as well and seems to time his movement in the box well.

15 league games, 12 of them starts, 12 goals and 3 assists so far.

 

I was just reading Yacine Adli has been told by Milan to find a new club and training with the reserves. He only has a year on his deal so I doubt he would be too expensive.

When he left Bordeaux he was one of the most creative centre midfielders in Ligue 1 and had already taken the captains armband on occasions at only 21. The move to Milan hasn’t worked out but he made 35 appearances on loan at Fiorentina last season and ranks as one of the most creative midfielders in Serie A.

He can play anywhere in centre midfield either as a deep lying player or further forward. He is more attacking minded but has good strength and stamina. He is also press resistant.



Another centre midfielder who can also play centre back and is having a very strong season in Sweden is Silas Andersen. Ex Inter youth player and Danish U20 midfielder. Only 21 but looks really promising.

He is 6’3 with a good build, has shown great ball carrying ability to drive through the park either from centre back or defensive centre midfield. Is a good passer of the ball but carrying is where he really excels. Seems to have a good competitive attitude too.

Theres a lot to his game I like, his versatility could see him play centre back domestically for his offensive qualities but play in midfield for his defensive ones. He is very strong in both ground and aerial duels, uses his body well too. He is also good for interceptions.

 

Dan-Axel Zagadou has less than a year left on his contract at Stuttgart still only 26. Valued at 2 million apparently. Worth a punt at CB.
