Don't think Osmand has come here to go on loan mate, he had plenty of options.

    That's alarming if so..

If Yamada wasn't coming in then it would've looked like
    Maeda
    Idah
    Osmand

But with the 4, then Osmand will struggle for game time, or Maeda goes left and that's our 3 up top, which is nowhere near good enough..

Osmand getting a loan for 6 months/a year but with a clearer pathway through for us, isn't a bad thing. Far more likely to get games for us in a years time than at Fulham..

Means we start the season with a weaker front 3 than we finished it and £80m in the bank.

Should be * riots if we go into a champions League qualifier with Idah as our main striker

I think Maeda definitely plays on the left..

Then we havec Shin, Idah and Osmand..

Especially with Jota not featuring until December/January..

If we loan Osmand it would need to be a clever move.

This is probably the plan. And I'm happy with that.

Hope, he doesn't live up to his first name.

I think that's a really weak front 3 for all competitions..

Idah who scores goals but all round game is lacking. Hasn't established his self in 2 seasons now as a main man..

Yamada an unknown who has had 1 very good season but is off the back of a pish one..

Osmand who is very much someone with potential to get there, eventually..

Maeda is better than all 3 of them as a striker in my opinion..

If Maeda goes left then that also means we don't go for a top left winger as well....as he's a guaranteed starter..

We may possibly be looking at a system change, thought we might see it as soon as KT resigned, as he doesn't really invert.. maybe Osmand could play 10 or false 9..

Its difficult to know exactly how we're going to set up.. we still need 2 x wingers..

The elephant in the room, literally.. is Idah.. as we made such a heavy investment in him, he's likely to get a good shot at no1 ST..

It'll remain 433 and tbh I'm actually okay with those 4 as options for number 9 given how Daizen performed there - his ability to easily move to LW means his quality can still be in the team not at the expense of the other 3. Still need wingers though.

all the japanese bhoys we signed have great technique ,fitness and workrate if yamada continues this trend i dont think we will be dissapointed i would be more concerned about having to rely on osmand whos never played senior football

The worry is is that we keep buying players for £1.5m.

I'm not against spending that sort of money but for every signing? How many undiscovered gems are there in that market?

We need to go out and get our top targets. If we have to revaluate what a £5m-£15m players is nowadays, so be it.

Time is irrelevant these days. I used to get up at 5 in the morning to watch American boxing.
But I am coming back round to the J League for unearthed gems, meaning good scouting, now that I have seen the YT's of Inarmura, and his great showing at Cork and Shin Yamada, and I'm really excited about both of them.

There’s been a good few from the j league transferred to Europe recently

Low fees sell for a high price after a few seasons

    Interesting.
Good business. And one we want to be involved in to stay ahead of the curve.
