    I'm hoping a lot more acts support Kneecap by highlighting the plight of the Palestinian people as well.

    We should not be silenced.

    Well. I have never heard of Bob Vylan before but it's safe to assume he backed up Kneecap a wee bit :giggle1:

    An Avon and Somerset police spokesperson confirmed the force was assessing comments made by Kneecap during their set.

    They told the Guardian: “We are aware of the comments made by acts on the West Holts Stage at Glastonbury festival this afternoon.

    “Video evidence will be assessed by officers to determine whether any offences may have been committed that would require a criminal investigation.”

    Absolutely * crazy. I don’t know a single kneecap song but an absolute joke action will be taken against them….but no action made by the government to put pressure on Israel to stop genocide.

    They keep going in about THE Jewish State…

    For me…. That’s the problem.. a ‘country’ that has town/cities/sites that are crucial to the basis of 3 religions and has a proportion of the population from each (albeit heavily Jewish overall) continue tally hammers down the Jewish thing in everything they say and do. It’s on the flag… it’s on the walls… it’s on every tv broadcast… stars of David and menorahs etc ..

    They use it.. and they use it to their advantage… there is no separation between being Israeli and being Jewish…. To say anything negative about Israel is immediately labelled as anti-Jewish.. and the rest of the world lets them away with this nonsense.

    This complete entwinement of nation and faith will ultimately be their downfall. It prejudices all other faiths and those of no faith by its very existence. If they were a secular nation - while being essentially Jewish by majority and demography - they would have to be far more tolerant themselves and consequently far more tolerable as a people/nation. They would t be able to hide behind Tbe Jewish persecution shield any longer.

    * ISRAEL !

    (Yes…. they would immediately tag that as anti-Semitic)

    but.. * them again anyway!

    I dont like the music but I enjoyed their youthful energy at Glastonbury. More interesting than watching old men and ladies going through the motions.

    Theyve done very well from all the drama Im sure.

    I find it ironic when people say "you are (or that is) anti-Semitic".

    It is not the flex they think it is. They have changed the meaning of the word by shouting it when you criticise anything they do.

    To me being anti-Semitic now means you are against genocide and ethnic cleansing. You are against children being shot at in the street as they mind their own business. You are against starvation.
