There’s a lot of quite specific Brummie hate in here, do we no like them? Is there a thing here I’ve missed haha?

i’ve never really had many thoughts on them. Chris Davies managing them, and I really liked him as an assistant here, I like to see him doing well.

 

* knows, no hate from me. Haven’t ever had any dealings with them or even met a Birmingham fan. Just taking the * cause I know they’re looking at the forum lol

 

Hard to keep up with our ‘football friends’ and enemies sometimes, remember Rennes had a big banner celebrating our friendship beyond the sea and that. Nobody I knew * knew that was a thing

Aye, not a club that has ever held any weight in my footballing life just been there or thereabouts but I like Chris Davies a lot,

 

Agree, I only think Wrexham will though based on the whole cinema/show around the club. They need a whole new squad basically for that league but they’ll be able to draw in players of higher level than championship from the us or even England I reckon. Not sure the ins and outs financially but surely they can afford a spend.

One thing that is to be said though, that leagues the hardest in the world to get out of I reckon.

 

It's whether they want to spend to get out of the championship. Some teams have gone under, or come very close, trying to get out. It's a big risk, compared to spending to get out of league one and two especially.

 

It's a tough league for sure. Birmingham have spent absolute bonkers money in the last year

 

Still pretty * off by the way this all played out. Silly * could have been a legend here if he stayed a few more seasons.

 

They are gonna have an incredible team for that league. The signings they’ve made already have been unreal

 

Always prepared them over Villa

 

Crazy considering he didn’t get a look in at Rennes and wasn’t great with us in his last season. Kinda quantifies how £9 million for Idah and £11 million for Engles doesn’t guarantee a Messi or a Ronaldo type performer

 

Crazy to leave a champions league team to get a better chance at international football just to end up in the English Championship 6 months later. I don't wish him any ill will and hope he smashes it there if he goes but I can't imagine it's how he imaged the last few months panning out.

 

Good luck to him, let’s hope it works out as he is still a cracking player, think he just got a bit stale here near the end.

 

Hel smash it in the Championship tbh. His pace and movement will get him a ton of goals.

 

Such an open league too as only a few teams ever put 10 at the back. He’ll be on the end of so many through balls.

Although I’m unsure he’ll actually play much if they continue to play one striker up top. They paid £16 mil last year for Stansfield and hes no doubt about it number 1

 

They often played with Stansfield behind a striker, so there may well be room for Kyogo.

 

From what I could see most their games last year it was just 1 up top and if not stansfield they’d play Alfie May instead.

stansfield did actually play out wide for england u21s this euros too so he’s obviously flexible. Wonder if Chris Davies is planning to go with kyogo as the main man then
