Finished Jo Nesbo's crime thriller Midnight Sun. Set within the same background as Blood on Snow but again very much a stand alone book and another very enjoyable read.

I have not read The Hunter yet but I did enjoy The Searcher. I will be interested to see what you think of The Hunter.

Finished reading a book about Wyatt Earp which was pretty cool and started Moby * last night, which I'm struggling with due to the way it's written. Read the first 3 chapters because I don't wanna be a quitter, anyone else read it or tried to and found the same?

Finished John Connolly's crime thriller The Dirty South. While part of the author's excellent Charlie Parker series this is like an origin story book rather then a continuation of that series. But it is another great read in the series all the same.

I just self-published my debut novella on Amazon, if any of you have any interest. It’s a gritty, fast-paced crime story set in Dublin’s underworld, and I’ve stuck it up for €0.99 / £0.86 for the first week or two.

Currently reading The Siege think it's very good.

Recently read St Pauli another football is possible. A very good book but a very har read. In fact the most unreadable book I 've ever read.

One of the best and most easy to read books I read recently was The Traitor of Colditz.

I just bought the latest two John Connolly's books the other day when I was home in Ireland and added them to my too read list. Really like Miachael Connelly's Bosch series as well. Fair Warning is the next one up on that series for me in my too read stacks.

Finished Anne Rice's Prince Lestat and the Realms of Atlantis. Sadly it was the penultimate book in her famous Vampire chronicles due to her death. A decent read although it veers away from the traditional Vampire chronicles formats which have so much history/historical fiction in them and gets a bit into the area of fantasy a bit more. A decent book just not quite at the level of earlier Vampire chronicles.

Listened to these last year. Really good but hard to keep up with all the characters.
