Fit and firing then genuinely not many better left backs around. Injuries are obviously the main worry but had he been fit consistently the last couple of seasons we wouldn’t have a hope in * of signing him. With our crazy schedule and the amount of games we play where we don’t need all our best players to play then he and we should be ok.

We need to buy another imo. We would get targeted like * if KT got injured.

Promoting would be dangerous as our colts haven't been provided the loans to develop.

The absolute anxiety when he goes down after a challenge will be unbearable but so buzzing to see him back on the pitch for us. Him and Daizen's work rate on the left hand side will be a nightmare for opponents.

Anderson looks very good from what I’ve seen. Id like to get a proper look at him pre season and if he’s up to it give him the opportunity

Europe. And even huns if we end up with a b-team player. A absolute no-brainer imo. I would love to see Anderson as well but we can't risk having him as our number 2 especially as KT is very injury prone. We wont risk this either as i am 100% sure that the club will get back-up in obviously.

Yeah it's not worth the risk. I think one of Anderson and Frame stays and be third choice, the other goes on loan and gets some game time.

My position has always been one of worry, given his injury record.

At this moment in time, I just don't give a *. I'm happy for him, that he's home and sorted for the remainder of his career. Whether it's 5 years or more.

If he's fit, he's one of the best left backs in the UK. Let's hope that he can keep that fitness up because what a player we have.

    Welcome home, son. Welcome home.

Certainly wouldn’t be moaning at 3 years with an option. I accept if it wasn’t for his situation Tierney wouldn’t be back here and he is a cracking player, so much so we haven’t been able to get close to his level at left back since he went to Arsenal. I am all for signing him but just pointing out he will obviously be a top earner and ability wise rightly so.

We done this with James McCarthy and gave again a very talented but injury prone player a four year deal. We have paid his wages for 3 years for nothing back, all I was pointing out is I hope we don’t land in the same scenario with Kieran Tierney.

As we all know how the club work so if one of our top earners isn’t available for an expanded period of time the replacement will be a budget option in terms of wages as we won’t break our wage structure.

I want nothing more than KT to come back in and be fit and playing as he is a class player. You can check back previous posts to January when it was announced he was coming back there will be nothing Celtic will do this window that will be a bigger upgrade in a position than bringing in KT to takeover from Greg Taylor.

I think the big difference there is McCarthy just wasn't good enough, was old and near the end of his career. He looked out of place as soon as he signed. KT is still absolutely brilliant.
