Bit daft to be trying to put a show you’re 1/3rd of the way through into “tiers”.

Saying The Walking Dead is better than The Sopranos may be the worst take I’ve ever seen about anything.

Haven’t seen the Walking Dead but if it’s the same standard as Prison Break and SoA then it’s not a patch on the Sopranos.

That’s probably what I’m comparing it too tbh. Was hooked to the Walking Dead when first few seasons then gave up about 7.

Sopranos has been good but don’t find myself desperate to watch the next episode like them other shows I mentioned.

No offence but this is one of the worst takes I've ever seen on the Internet lol.

Prison Break, SoA and * Walking Dead over the Sopranos?! :43:

Sopranos is lightyears above those mentioned. A couple of years ago I probably preferred The Wire, but I re-watched both back to back recently and Sopranos is the better show.

Breaking Bad and BCS are Godly, still not as good as the Sopranos though. The Sopranos had everything.

    1. Sopranos
    2. The Wire
    3. Breaking Bad = Better Call Saul

Depends what you like the shows you have mentioned nearly all of them have some sort of action every episode sometimes more so than an action movie sopranos different type of show

Yeah it’s maybe something like that. I’m not one for long gunfights or anything like that I find that boring/annoying.

I’ll maybe get more into it as this season goes on.

To be fair, from series 3 onwards it's * tier, however if you are halfway through S2 and it's not doing it for you? I doubt that will change.

Each to their own and all that but seriously???
The walking dead!!!! I liked it until that dobber with the tiger. I’m a big fan of prison break with the exception of that last season. Same with SOA. Sopranos is light years ahead of all those shows imo

Rewatching at the moment. It's such a brilliant mesh of humour and drama. Despite being a crime boss Tony is heavily relatable. Issues with his kids, his wife and his mum. I'd also say it's take on mental health was fairly ground breaking for its time.

It put a line in the sand as far as the eye can see in my opinion.

Me too. Incredible writing and acting. Works on different levels. Funny, sad, brutal, thought-provoking.....and Paulie saying "I lost my shoe" in the Pine barrens episode cracks me up every time.

Just finished a Soprano's rewatch myself the other week, probably 4th time over the years. Never get old or boring. I always see it almost as a comedy though , it's the laughter that keeps me watching most of the time even though the drama is obviously insane at certain points and the plot is solid. Certainly for rewatch value the humour never gets old.
Joey Peeps headstone always gets me :56:
The Vito gay storyline , Leotardo and his kid brother Billy/Blundetto storyline , Richie/Ralphie one liners . Tony v Janice ( roadies ) , Juniors anger at the sketch artist , Junior in general , Matt Bevilaqua , Paulie throughout , Tony vs Meadows "boyfriend". Cracks me up and cheers me up tbf.

As for Boardwalk , it gets a bell of a lot better as the show progresses imo. Seasons 3 and 4 are elite level TV. Binged it for the first time over the winter there and was in mourning when it ended , absolutely superb . Top tier, you will enjoy it .
