It was no surprise we looked like we were having more joy almost instantly the moment Maeda was through the middle, but thay injury to Forrest * it and Kenny was anonymous.

Also, what the * was Yang doing. Either playing passes too short or his own positioning was always just off that when he's receiving a pass it's away from him because he has no connection with the rest of the squad.

 

There is silver linings, whatever happens here.
And it's a loss... so it provides motivation for unfinished business for BR and the team for next season. And the fact that both Cup Finals have gone to penalties now does suggest there are some issues that need addressed, including in the prep for these biwg games.

Congrats to Aberdeen. They had a game plan and it worked. Rodgers theory of just doing the same thing regardless DOES NOT WORK. We got lucky in the LC Final, we got our * handed by Sevco a few times, and now today.
