And when he plays well, to not drop him. We’ve done it several times to him this season.

His performance 3-0 Hun game was brilliant, he was outstanding, I think if we didn’t go to International break right after, him being dropped when our games resumed would have had a much bigger reaction. He’s a top pro, will be there for the team and play for the team so much. That can make him easy to drop, he will be on the bench without a peep and can be trusted to come on and do what the manager wants off of him regardless.

Everything he did today was the wrong decision. Couldn't believe his refusal at times to turn when on the ball and run towards goal.

Had a massive opportunity the last wee while and totally * it.

 

Just continually not seeing it with him. Massive downgrade on Hatate for me.

A very average footballer who is happy just touching the ball as a lay off...how he stayed on as long as he did is a mystery.

 

I like the lad and always have. I’ve extended him every bit of patience going. I’ve defended him when others have ripped him. I’ve had faith in him during bad performances.

In other midfields and in other teams, you’d get away with a beige, jack-of-all-trades, 6/10 per game guy like this, but not here. We need technicians, pace-setters and physically assertive guys.

We all know that no one we sign is going to be all of those.

But not even managing to major in one of them is not something we can tolerate any longer. It’s taken me a long time to get to this stage, but punt him already.

 

No idea why Rodger's thought he'd last the 90, let alone extra time, with the lack of game time he's had lately.

 

Again, has the talent but has not had a good season. Up to him now to turn it around.

I was really surprised that Engels got hooked instead of him. I think that was a huge mistake.
