Went through the town/trongate. Clean up operation underway, cleansing, police and fans all standing laughing and joking everyone looked in great spirits although a little sunburnt and worse for wear! Of course that wont be reported by SMSM!

But it is played out for me.

Not surprisingly the smsm are filling their pages with stories of violence and disruption from yesterday and while there was a few fights, it was nothing compared to their antics in George Sq. Unfortunately, I witnessed a few fights yesterday between mostly young eejits full of drink or coke. I also had a full pint of Guinness spilled all over me while standing at the side door of MCChuills due two guys being refused entry and ended up with several people boxing (especially a big guy in dreadlocks who was wanting to fight with everyone). I definitely think we should always have the right to celebrate, but it's now time for the club, supporters, GGC, and the cops to get together to organise something.

The club will never do anything, do any clubs?

    Would be sanatised pish.

It's what 5-10 hours a year, you're entitled to a bit of madness, no different to probably TRNSMT emptying or randoms bevving in Glasgow green in the summer or whatever.

Celtic fans probably provide £10s of millions to the City a year in tax, they can sweep a bit of mess up once a year.

"Everyone come here only £10 per ticket and £9 a pint, festivities will include a DJ playing official Celtic cd's and Liam McGrandles will turn up with a guitar for 30 minutes, special guest appearance from an ex player to come on stage ramble a bit of patter about how great Celtic are, say hail hail and leave". Unmissable.

I know, evening times had a photo of litter on the street with the headline "shocking scenes" . * do they expect when thousands of people are accumulated in a relatively small space? They never report anything like that when it's events like Transit or the fecking orange walks which take place practically every week but we all know * the smsm are about.

So basically, take away the hoop tops and its just another weekend in the city. Its wearing green that gives them the ammunition and a stick with which to beat us with. Same as the 'objects thrown between Celtic fans and Orc Order' when it was objects thrown into the Celtic fans by the Bigot Brigade. So technically there was objects thrown between the two sides but by the Bigot Brigade. SMSM is diabolical in their reporting of events. Expecting the streets paved with litter reports not to mention the complete lack of rubbish bins to put litter into. One sided, biased bollox leaving out any mitigating circumstances that cause situations. As long as theirs Celts to blame their happy, if there isn't any, well they'll just jolly well make some up.

Party on Bhoys and Ghirls, we'll get blamed no matter what. Might as well enjoy it and get blamed than go home and still get the blame

Just saw one popping up om my FB by the sun (I know) with the headline saying "orange marchers met by a wall of Celtic fans" which in reality was a bunch of about 10 Celtic fans standing in a shop doorway while the hundreds of bigots marched bye. They also reported about a "tense stand off " between marchers and Celtic fans when it was several of the followers of the walk breaking off from the march to try and attack a lone Celtic fan. Lying *

Mate seen someone who got stabbed * out of outside of Connolly’s in the town yesterday. A real bad one. Not heard anything about it but he didn’t think the boy was going to make it. His Mrs drenched in blood traumatised breaking down outside it.

    Horrific man.

Year on year it’s just getting scummier

Cause social media and the internet.

People always say this but theres never been a calmer easier time to be alive.

There was probably 3x the stabbings 20 year ago and 20 year before that was probably double that.

Everything you've listed is why the club won't organise something. If they did then they'd be held responsible for the violence, the vandalising and the drugs. 90% will have behaved themselves, anither 5% probably went with good intentions but took too much and got drawn into trouble and 5% who go looking for trouble and see it as an excuse to be a *, and * it up for everyone. They're the ones who are to blame not the club.

I had a superb day yesterday. Swung by a Spar behind High St station for cans and water which was dead and no need to queue. Chilled for a bit then watched the partying from afar just inside the police line beside subway. Didn't see any bother just your usual.

Into Blackfriars after and had a great time. Game was grim but that ending was something else! Felt like a cup winning goal. Lovely :ynwacelti

Aye had pals doing it and got some of the worst chases of my life in my teens and early 20's from * carrying machetes or that..

Even getting on buses through certain areas you were running the gauntlet. Now due to cctv on them etc as well as being old enough for the wee shites to no really look at you anymore, it's nowhere near what it was..

I personally seen 3 stabbings, 4 if you count 2 people stabbing each other by maybe 15 year old and not seen one since. When younger you recall about 20 stabbings from around your area where as it's near enough unheard of now, people I grew up with at school etc 3 were killed and 3(like 10 others for 3 murders) were jailed for murders of others.

Theres 1 boy who was killed from just outside Celtic Park a year ago and is major news still when in 2005 there was probably 10 a year, teenagers killed in stabbings.

Even people with their faces slashed, if everyone lined up the average age would probably be about 60, it doesn't happen as much now as 20 year ago and 20 year ago it wasn't as common as 20 year before that.

If we had video and photos of everything going on in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s it would seem 10x worse than now as everycunt was up to everything.

Stolen cars, break ins, armed robberies were probably 10x worse.

Would have seemed like a warzone compared to now.

Fans always go to Covent Garden before and after Wembley, that's Westminster prepreparing it rather than the club. The Palace fans had also done damage round the area prior to the semi final so Palace probably forced into discussions.

See when you are a football fan celebrating something. Why would it come in to your mind to damage stuff. Never understood that.

    * who use football as an excuse for their cuntery. If football didn't exist they'd just find another excuse. Sadly they just give most football fans an unwarranted bad name.
