Looks like his season is done to me, just needs to put the work in over the summer and come back out swinging. Definitely has the talent and more importantly, the intelligence required.

 

Just came back into the team, needs time to adjust again, and can't be judged on what is an experimental team tonight. The only midfielder we have with any real physicality who knows how to use it too, and still has plenty of untapped potential.Links well with Idah, when both are in the team together.

 

Hes been pretty ineffectual this season and looks to have gone backwards rather than kicked on. Granted, hes had injuries.

Im not sure if its just the way Rodgers sets the team up to play, but that position in general seems pretty ineffectual. You see it with Engels as well. Its hard to put your finger on why as you would expect to see more influential performances. Its like there is no clear sense of purpose for the player other than to play quite low risk football in moving the point of attack from one flank to the other trying to bring the wider players into play.

 

Just looks so much stronger in a deeper position, where he's got time to dictate the game and find passes,

 

He's was decent today overall, but if Hatate is injured, McCowan should start.

 

He's a hard worker but he hasn't kicked on like I hoped he would this season. Obviously the injury didn't help. Hoping for an improvement next year.

 

Agreed, think he looks better at CDM

 

He always does well in cameos but is basically a passenger when he starts games, it's weird.

 

Not having him at all.
We absolutely need to get CM right in the window. Hopefully Brownhill comes in.

 

He's a cure for insomnia.

 

What does he actually contribute to the team?

 

The new Scapegoat. People must of got bored of slagging Trusty.

It’s trophy day in a dead rubber ffs. Had a * of a season with injuries, he will come back better next season.

 

Think he's at his best on a breakaway/counter attack , he can carry the ball forward and find a pass when the game stretches . Which is why I think he is better as an impact sub later on in games where we maybe need a goal .
But in general play in a normal game he's just so so average.

 

Exaggerating a bit with the injuries. He missed 7 games and played in 43, not like he was injured most of the season.

Truth is, apart from a spell at the start of the season, he's been very underwhelming. It's not a scapegoat

 

He's had plenty of game time this season and done very little.

 

Lighter than lightweight in an already underweight midfield - so he's not the only one.
Cup final is great opportunity, then pre season a big one, as it is for many.

 

I was glad we signed him but I tend to agree with this these days.

Still has some lovely touches/passes, but on the whole he’s pretty average.

 

My feelings are known. Find him pretty brutal..

One of his attributes are his physicality but got thrown about like a wean by Gogic and some his his touches and passing was * as usual..

I hope to * we upgrade on him specifically this summer. If I had my way I'd get rid in a heartbeat..

 

With you on this , I actually don't know what people are seeing when they watch him.
