If they can overtake the huns it's a small victory. But it's been a * season and she has to go.

Taking the 2-1 win, but seriously it's still only the 3rd win since January. One of which was against Dundee United, who have accrued a grand total of just 4 points, and the other was Motherwell, who Celtic are still 20-odd points behind. Hearts went into the split 6 points behind Celtic, so have made up ground until the Hoops got that late winner, but any way you slice it, 3 wins in 3 months and all 3 against teams that are below them and should've been expected to win... even with Hearts they've split league wins 2 each this season.

Nice wee win, think it's Glasgow City and then the huns up next. If the lassies win those two then I reckon they still got a shout at 2nd spot to put a bit of shine on an otherwise mediocre season imo.

I'll take it. If we finish 2nd and it's still a big if, it should save Sadikus's job.

It shouldn’t. Regardless of where we finish now, she needs to go. There has been absolutely no title defence whatsoever. The football is beyond dire, and she clearly can’t manage a group of players. Our best player leaving months ago after falling out with Sadiku shows that.

She’s miles out of her depth and needs punted before she does even more damage.

You could have said the same about Ange and he is still there. :giggle1:

I'm not denying there are problems, but just posing the theoretical suggestion, that if she can get us back to 2nd spot, and it is a tall order with Rangers and Glasgow City still to come, I feel it would save her job.

    LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC!!!

Good ball from Kit Loferski finds LAC at the back post to fire home.

Game on... maybe? Still over half hour to play, but it is still a long way back.

    City 3-1 Celtic

The Ghirls definitely seem to have picked up their game since HT, but 3-0 down at HT was always going to be a long way to come back from. Just a few minutes to go.

    FT: City 3-1 Celtic

And with that, it is now mathematically certain that Celtic's title defence is over.

I don’t know why Sadiku is still the manager. Out of her depth. Needs replaced.

It's weird how the womens League kind of progressed for 2/3 years probably reaching a peak about 2 year ago.

Then the * fell out the whole thing. You'd have though the level would have continued to rise and improve but the teams now definitely looks worse than 2 seasons ago when you watch the games.

They need more Hayes and Flint type players, big battering rams. They looked like Hartson and Bobo and done some damage. Now when you watch them it's like 11 Willo Floods trying to play like prime Barcelona to score a goal, flat, boring, slow and no quality or pace.
