Unused sub for past couple of games and now not in squad. Bit weird, i know he got the injury in his first game but thought he was doing pretty good since he got fit again.

I watched him a couple of times at Brighton. The impression I got was he was playing well, picking up good positions and moving the ball well, but maybe not being used by his teammates in those early stages.

It did look to me that Brighton had a lot of running power which maybe isn’t his game, which is maybe why he stands out to the coach and there’s comments on ‘intensity’.

My question would be why sign him though if that’s the type of player you want. I’d be pretty annoyed if I was a Brighton fan and we’ve dropped £28m on a player then made comments like that.

£28m just so you can be snobby about the premier league’s ‘intensity’ .. okay mate

The guy litterly played for celtic under ange. The most intense pressing side any Scottish team has been involved in. So intense we had Tottenham levels of injuries (coincidence..)

But aye.. can't take the "intensity" get tae *. Use him right and hea * quality. Managers obviously a *.

EPL give players zero time to settle in.

He will eventually settle in and be fine but if he doesn't we will have him back for 10mil.

There's been comments on Brightons forum that they think he's too lightweight...

Dissapointed. Not for him exactly but it is important for the club that our big money trasnfers perform.

Yeah I agree with that. Think he'll still go on and do really well but looks like it just wasn't meant to be at Brighton.

He'll find his form again with regular match time no matter where he plays. His injury set him back for a while and he's struggling to make an impact at Brighton for whatever reason. Hope it all works out for him, a good servant for the club.

He took a run of games to get going here, when he first arrived and after injury so no surprise he hasn't found his feet there yet.

He actually started off really well for us then dipped.

I just dont think the Brighton manager is that keen on him
