The best option would be to volley Robertson out the team. He is very overrated, lets far too many crosses come in. He was terrified of their winger on Thursday night. Virgil covers for his lack of ability consistently at Liverpool.
In fact, don’t change the team. Leave Tierney on the bench, can’t get injured there surely.

Scotland are not going to, nor should they, jettison their captain and Liverpool's first choice left back from the team.

It’s already been shown plenty of times Robbo and KT can co-exist in a side.

Robertson is decent but he was awful on Thursday, and it isn't the first time for Scotland. The main issue I think was McLean in front of him who is slow. It left the left open. Thank * Greece were * in front of goal and Souttar and Ralston covered the mistakes from Robertson and Hanley.

Looking forward to him coming back, he’ll definitely add a bit of bite we’ve been lacking since brown lefts hopefully the others can feed off him

    Looked * very quickly.

Won't judge too much at this point but I do worry.

Looks like he's lost about 10 yards of pace.

His performance is a major concern. No pace, poor passing and the fact he looked knackered after 15 minutes is a massive concern.

Going by that, we better keep Schlupp and Taylor then.

Hardly played any football..I'd be more concerned if he starts the season like this after a pre season under his belt

Lack of pace has to be expected hasn't played too much, a good preseason under us and he will be fine (minus any injuries)

He's looked fine when playing for Arsenal so far this season, wouldn't say he's lost a yard of pace.

It's more likely the state of the game and total lack of effort he has to play under Clarke, more than anything

He wasn't great tonight, but i think he's looked great when he's played for Arsenal recently.

As HTG said, he hasnt looked like that at Arsenal, despite limited features and minutes.

In fact, from the highlights Ive seen, hes looked like the only Arsenal player with a bit of real energy about him.

Ive always thought bringing him back is a risk, but the case being argued that hes lost yards of pace could be down to other factors; tactics, carrying a bug, personal motivation, maybe an injury.

Once he gets a run of half a dozen full games he’ll be fine, he’s nowhere close to full match fitness.

Once your hammy goes and if you are worried about it happening again there can be a psychological problem with sprinting full pelt.

As others have said , judge him after a pre season. Doesn't look like the marauding , overlapping LB that left however. Hopefully a run of games and getting match fit will get him back close to that at least .
