Looking to build a 100k seater stadium.

Sure that's going to go down well with the fanbase.

 

Unless they build it in Looondon then most will be happy!.

 

Looks like a big * clown tent. Fitting for the new owners sacking all the ordinary workers, when not even 1 players wage would have covered them. Hope they go bust.

 

It seems a bit underwhelming they should aim for something like this:

 

I'm sure their fans would be happier with a half decent team than a new fancy stadium

 

Cheaper to build new which they should have done decades ago. Place is falling apart

 

I think the tent part looks ridiculous but if they can get it built and filled it will be amazing for them.

Ridiculous boondoggle. One of the daftest designs you'll see and totally mental at $2bn for a team in $1bn debt that can't get out the bottom half of the table. And it's * hideous to boot. No way it comes to fruition.

 

Can they actually sell out 100k? I'd have assumed with them being miles off it in the league for so many years now some fair weather fans would have drifted. I guess they could if they're part of the euro superleague when it eventually happens.

 

We would have been same in 1994 until the bunnet arrived and stadium was rebuilt along with the team.
That’s what Man Utd are doing but in much bigger scale

 

Government supports the plan so it will go ahead.

 

Celtic could upgrade Celtic Park to 75,000 seater stadium by DD giving £100,000,000 which is only 5 years worth of interest on his current wealth.

Gotta be honest, my first reaction was to gawk in horror, but once you actually watch the video and see the internal scenery etc it actually looks kinda awesome... There's the whole village type thing there, for a complete match day experience, and the sheer opportunity to shift food, drink and merch to 100k on a regular basis will make them stupid amounts... Guaranteed a Champions League final, loads of concerts and international games too no doubt...

I'd be surprised if they don't recoup the money fairly quickly...

I remember some of the scum saying the grass should be blue in that picture

 

We if the government turn around tomorrow and say they are helping find it every team on these island should be filing complaint that’s state aid for me which is against the rules surely
