This is embarrassing (for you). I don't need to type 'I thought' because language has context. Within the context of me posting it, it's obviously what I think, therefore an opinion. I can't believe I'm having to explain this to what I assume is a grown man.

I've just told you I don't dislike him at all, so you're wrong again. I just don't rate him and the majority of his performances in a Celtic shirt back that up.

He's definitely much more effective on the right..

He's definitely improved and has played at level I didn't think he had in him.

The jury is definitely out on him, I had written him off, so to see him make an impact is an unexpected pleasure, as his attitude is bang on..

It doesn't have to be so 'polar' when it comes to opinion on him.

Let's see how he goes for the rest of the season.

Yeah let's just redefine the definition of words to suit ourselves shall we? You're literally proving my point. You were never interested in sharing a constructive opinion on Yang. You simply shared a statement, which you were trying to pass off as factual, that he was *. And are now trying to twist that by saying the fact you're on a forum changes the definition of what an opinion is. It's elite level mental gymnastics that Steven Gerrard would be proud of.

Doesn't matter how much you try and say it, your dislike of the player shines through your posts and your bias towards him is as clear as day. So you aren't convincing me lol.

It's also worth remembering he concentrated on his education and has only been an professional footballer for quite a short time..

Think that needs to be taken into consideration when we analyse his development.

Good point, it's this type of thing that people are so quick to ignore/dismiss. This, along with the fact that it must be a monumental task trying to adapt at Celtic (considering where he's come from).

These are things any semi intelligent football fan should be conscious of, sadly I think folk are usually too stubborn to admit they were maybe hasty on writing players off.

Both Maeda and Kuhn were written off by several on here in their early stages. Happens all the time. Players are often viewed as robots by some of our fans that either produce immediate amazing level results or they're *.

You’re pretty much making my point for me here, he’s nowhere near the level required for his stage of development - no matter the reasoning behind it.

He’s clearly got a superb attitude and his work ethic is why he’s being trusted (albeit if Forrest were fit we wouldn’t have seen him anywhere near as much) but the gap is far too big to bridge and for that reason another winger should be, and most likely will be, right up the priority list for the summer.

No one but you is trying to redefine anything. The hilarious irony of you mentioning mental gymnastics is the cherry on top.

Second paragraph is simply not true, no matter how hard you try to claim otherwise. I just don't rate him. You being incapable of accepting that someone has a different opinion from yourself is your issue. I'll leave it at that because going round in circles gets boring very quickly.

You're not making too much sense there. If Yang's place in the squad this season is to be 5th choice winger, then surely he's performing at a level you'd expect from someone so far down the pecking order? Obviously he's not going to be as good as Jota, Kuhn or Maeda who have regularly played in those positions this season. But we aren't going to be able to fork out millions on a winger to replace Yang who'll be content with his limited minutes are we? He's a squad player at a good age who has potential and room to grow. For me he fits the bill pretty well. He's certainly nowhere near as bad as you or others make him out to be.

I think he's been excellent recently, it's a bit OTT to call him * after a 20 minute cameo where he played a part in the second goal.

Still has a good bit to go before we should be considering him an option for next season imo, but he's done his chances no harm in recent weeks.

Kühn was the best one man. Hilarious the state some * were getting themselves into. Same with Engels at points this season. Stupidity is the only word to describe it at this point.

It is hilarious, the human element of our players is never ever considered. Brendan joking saying Yang has improved as his girlfriend has been over shows that something really simple like that in your personal life can make all the difference. I can only imagine what I'd have been like at 22 moving to South Korea in a high pressure environment like Yang has done. I'm willing to bet it's hugely more difficult than we can imagine.

He does have attributes though.. more than a superb attitude and work rate.. he has pace, good height and physicality.. and lately the most difficult thing in the game an end product..

Whether he's going to be good enough in the longterm, like I said the jury is out. But, his improvement has been a surprise and it's made it a debate for me.

What part are you struggling with because you appear to be severely struggling?

I couldn’t put it in more basic terms than I don’t think he has the requisite quality to be a Celtic player. What part of that isn’t computing?

Game intelligence, positional sense, decision making all very poor but more importantly his end product isn’t good enough. The sample size you’ve taken doesn’t give you the full picture that he’s a Celtic winger and has 5 goals from 27 appearances. Forrest could put in those sorts of numbers these days but the difference is the 3 things I’ve said Yang are poor at, Forrest has in abundance.

Cool mate, I think you'd be better suited turning up to Lennoxtown tomorrow with "Celtic Quality" and "Not Celtic Quality" bibs and dishing them out to the guys tomorrow so we all know the score. Don't want Brendan and the team wasting any more time on these deadbeats.

Brendan likes him, that’s no a secret and it’s no even a secret why because he’s told everyone he loves his infectious attitude and work ethic. I don’t have any issue with that…
